Trimming “Legal actions” section
I am removing several sentences from the “legal actions” section because they pertain to testimony he gave in legislative proceedings, not lawsuits that he was involved with. If anyone would like to discuss this, I invite you to do so here. SharkJumperNYC (talk) 20:24, 4 January 2026 (UTC)
- I would suggest moving them to a different section rather than total removal. I do agree they don't really fit into "legal actions". Springee (talk) 21:09, 4 January 2026 (UTC)
- I think it would be better to re-title the section than remove content, though those are clearly two very different meanings of 'legal action' being used. ᛗᛁᛟᛚᚾᛁᚱPants Tell me all about it. 13:42, 5 January 2026 (UTC)
- Is there any precedent or policy that could be applied here? The details about testimony struck me as a somewhat obscure level of detail. SharkJumperNYC (talk) 23:16, 5 January 2026 (UTC)
- I honestly don't know... Just going off my gut, I would move the testimony into the career section, as that's definitely part of his work. The lawsuits, I would keep in their own section. ᛗᛁᛟᛚᚾᛁᚱPants Tell me all about it. 02:49, 6 January 2026 (UTC)

- @TarnishedPath, I would appreciate it if you would explain why you reversed my edit. The blow-by-blow of Ngo’s congressional testimony didn’t strike me as worthy of inclusion in the article, and certainly not in a “Legal actions” section. SharkJumperNYC (talk) 23:19, 5 January 2026 (UTC)
- You may not think it worthy of inclusion, but two editors above do, even if that means retitling the section or moving it to a different section. TarnishedPathtalk 23:27, 5 January 2026 (UTC)
- Fair. I just broke out a new section, "Congressional testimony," to include the text you restored. SharkJumperNYC (talk) 05:54, 6 January 2026 (UTC)
