Section for Languages
Given that Athena is releasing back to back singles in Spanish to add to the fact she did a song in Greek and one in English/German, with all the others in English, should there be a column for song languages added to the table of her songs?Elaych22 (talk) 00:11, 24 April 2022 (UTC)
The Armenian Debate.
I'm pretty sure she is Greco-Armenian. ERBuermann (talk) 15:30, 5 November 2022 (UTC)
- Agree, she was supposed to represent Armenia in an international competition. She is Greek-Armenian, one can have two nationalities. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 15:48, 5 November 2022 (UTC)
- I added it to the lead Barseghian Lilia (talk) 18:01, 28 August 2025 (UTC)

Discussion
- (Summoned by bot) @Barseghian Lilia, has there been prior discussion on this? I can't see it. Also this question is far from neutral, as instructed at WP:RFCNEUTRAL. TarnishedPathtalk 23:24, 30 August 2025 (UTC)
- Hey TarnishedPath, I shortened the question. Barseghian Lilia (talk) 06:47, 31 August 2025 (UTC)
- (Summoned by bot) Comment @Barseghian Lilia. I understand the need to clarify, but I feel this RfC may be premature, like TarnishedPath suggests. I can see that the page was started in 2015 and, astonishingly, over the past 10 years nobody bothered to put an early life and education section in it. Importantly, her birth date and place are unsourced so far. This work should precede any details in the lede.
- Reviewing the edit history I see there have been edit wars starting at least in 2022 regarding her ethnicity or nationality, no discussion on the Talk page. Maybe you wanted to avoid an edit war by posing this RfC, but this is not the way to do it. I am a long standing WP:bio creator and editor and though unfamiliar with sources in the musical world, I dont think I see very good WP:RS here, including the Eurovision ones you refer to above.--Wuerzele (talk) 10:12, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
- I agree that this RFC is malformed and could have used more discussion. As currently worded the options presented don't follow MOS:NATIONALITY. The choice should be between Greek, Greek and Armenian, or Armenian. Options 1 and 3 don't follow MOS:NATIONALITY. Nemov (talk) 17:28, 7 September 2025 (UTC)
- @Barseghian Lilia, I would suggest removing the RFC tag from this discussion and start a new discussion (not an RFC), using the choices Nemov provided. Also, if there has been a bit of editing warring on this, as Wuerzele alludes to, perhaps ping all involved editors. TarnishedPathtalk 01:36, 8 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for all your comments! But with whom should I open a discussion if someone using an IP address removes the mention of Armenian from the lead? Who should I discuss this issue with? Wouldn't it be better to address it through this RfC? Barseghian Lilia (talk) 06:08, 8 September 2025 (UTC)
