The box at the top of the article states "Four generations of British Rail rolling stock". Rolling stock is any wagon or carriage hauled by a powered vehicle. The box has four photos of locomotives. Maybe the statement could be changed to read "Four generations of British Rail locomotives".

Additionally, the first photo shows an LMS locomotive. Maybe it would be better to replace this with a photo of one of the BR Standard classes. Enzo the Magnificent (talk) 20:11, 17 June 2026 (UTC)

The first photo is from '64, and the class of steam locos were finalised from building in '48 (I think), so should be okay. I have boldly changed the wording as you suggested. Cheerio, Mattdaviesfsic. Talk to me. 20:51, 17 June 2026 (UTC)

Perhaps a Class 37 or 47 would be a better image than a Deltic which was very much a niche class. Murgatroyd49 (talk) 07:16, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
