Hello. I'm disclosing that I work with DonateKart and have a conflict of interest (COI disclosed on my user page). I'm not editing the article directly and am using this Talk page as required under WP:COI. I would like to request a few updates to correct outdated information in the article. I'll keep each request simple. 1. Third founder missing from the lead The article currently names only two founders. Sarang Bobade is a co-founder and is missing. This is confirmed here: https://www.thebetterindia.com/79642/donatekart-engineering-graduates-donations-ngo/ Suggested fix: change "founded in 2016 by Anil Kumar Reddy and Sandeep Sharma" to "founded in 2016 by Anil Kumar Reddy, Sandeep Sharma, and Sarang Bobade" 2. Forbes India 30 Under 30 (2022) not mentioned The founders were listed in Forbes India 30 Under 30 in 2022. Source: https://www.forbesindia.com/article/30-under-30-2022/donatekart-building-the-ecommerce-of-giving/73879/1 Suggested fix: add this to the awards section. I'm happy to answer any questions. | |

Adding the third founder and adding Forbes 30 under 30
| This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. Set |answered=no to reactivate the request if necessary. |
Hello, I am an employee at Donatekart.I wanted to flag a factual error in the article. In the beginning it is mentioned that Doantekart has two founders that is Sandeep Sharma and Anil Kumar Reddy. But Doantekart has three founders, the third one being Sarang Bobade, which is not mentioned.
The source you can refer to for this is from better india: https://thebetterindia.com/changemakers/sarang-bobade-donatekart-crowdfunding-platform-donations-in-kind-social-impact-campaigns-11717700
Another request is that the founders were mentioned in Forbes 30 under 30 which is not mentioned in the current article. The source you can refer is from Forbes: https://www.forbesindia.com/article/30-under-30-2022/donatekart-building-the-ecommerce-of-giving/73879/1
Could someone look into it? ThanksPretti2026 (talk) 06:07, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
Approved Only the mentioning of the third person is approved. Spintendo 18:39, 27 June 2026 (UTC)
Forbes India 30 under 30 missing from accolades; changes in the initiatives section
This edit request has been answered. Set the |answered= parameter to no to reactivate your request. |
Hello, I am an employee working at Donatekart. I noticed that the accolades table doesn't include Forbes India 30 under 30 2022 but the founders were featured on the list. This is the source you can refer to: https://www.forbesindia.com/article/30-under-30-2022/donatekart-building-the-ecommerce-of-giving/73879/1
Also, I have another request of changes. In the initiatives section, it is mentioned "over 600 organizations" and "6 crore worth of products" and "forty thousand donors", but this is from 2019. According to recent articles from 2026, the current figures are over 10,000 NGOs, Rs. 400 crore worth of products and 25 lakh donor transactions. The sources you can refer to: https://indianstartupnews.com/news/kindness-must-move-donatekart-announces-major-rebrand-as-it-completes-10-years-11734060 https://thebetterindia.com/changemakers/sarang-bobade-donatekart-crowdfunding-platform-donations-in-kind-social-impact-campaigns-11717700
Could someone please look into it? ThanksPretti2026 (talk) 06:29, 17 June 2026 (UTC)

Declined ForbesIndia 30 Under 30 is not independently notable in Wikipedia. My practice is to only list awards which are notable. The other part of your request is not clear. Spintendo 18:39, 27 June 2026 (UTC)
