The result of the move request was: moved. The only argument against a move is "IAR" and thus not policy based. There is support for the proposed move; an alternative suggestion per Pppery had mixed support and opposition and would be more suited to an RfC for moving all episode titles. Episode 7921 → Episode 7921 (Neighbours) – WP:NCEPISODE now calls for episodes that are identified only by a number to include the name of the show in the title.   I would be fine with that, but you would have to do a multi-page RM to move all the other Neighbours episodes to titles of the same form so that they are consistent. • Oppose per wp:IAR (and possibly other policies but that's enough). There is no benefit in the proposed move. A redirect Episode 7921 (Neighbours) has been in place for some months. So it ain't broke. Andrewa (talk) 20:56, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
  • Of course it's broken. "Episode 7921" fails three of the five criteria for article names: it is not precise enough to unambiguously identify the article's subject, which could be the 7,921st episode of any TV show that had that many episodes. Support Pppery's suggestion and move all related Neighbours articles to the same format as per initially-suggested NCEPISODE and CRITERIA. (IAR is the weakest reason imaginable.) -- Alex_21 _TALK 03:20, 26 September 2025 (UTC)

• Support move as presented – per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC: A topic is primary for a term with respect to usage if it is [...] more likely than all the other topics combined to be what readers are looking for. I am not convinced this show's "Episode 7921" is more notable than all other "Episode 7921"s combined (for instance, a quick search pulls up a bunch of The Bold and the Beautiful hits). Oppose Pppery's suggestion as (a) it is inconsistent with other episode titles and (b) it implies "Episode 7921" is not the official title (maybe it isn't, but it's really hard to assess that; the original episode title works either way).
