Beware of WP:Sockpuppeting going on at this article

Gary Franks is a Nationally Syndicated Columnist for Tribune Content Agency
Since 2021, soon after the death of George Floyd, Franks started writing columns in numerous newspapers until he eventually signed on to become a nationally syndicated columnist for the Tribune Content Agency (Tribune Publishing) where his columns on politics, government, and race relations would appear weekly in more than a hundred newspapers and online services.

Gary Franks Papers at Yale University

In 2023 at the request of Yale University, Franks submitted his Congressional Papers and his personal handwritten diary going back decades to the Beinecke Library at Yale for study.

- I was recently honored to have been able to submit my Congressional Papers and handwritten diary to Yale's rare book library - Beinecke Library. They are planning to have a class built around the materials. Very few people are so honored. GaryAlvin (talk) 19:28, 10 December 2025 (UTC)

Gary Franks Forms Foundation

In 2023 Franks formed the Gary Franks Philanthropy Foundation. The mission of the foundation is to help develop future leaders through promoting advance education and to help improve race relations.
