In one of the images change *LCA Tejas maiden landing from INS Vikrant* to take off DaDinoNerdBoi (talk) 13:40, 2 November 2025 (UTC)

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. It's not clear what image you're referring to or why its caption needs to be changed. Please be more specific. Day Creature (talk) 14:46, 2 November 2025 (UTC)

Trishul as a Source

@Magentic Manifestations Blogs are strictly prohibited only for BLPs. Trishul is a very reliable source for defence.

That image was clicked by them in Aero India 2019. I ran a Google reverse search, and its available nowhere else. That's why they even have a watermark on it. They even have multiple official brochures of the S-400 Radars. I was confident about their authenticity, and no other source depicted data for the latest Mk-1A. That's why I added it.

Removal of Janes was purely accidental, otherwise I would've removed it completely. Cdr. Erwin Smith (talk) 10:34, 23 November 2025 (UTC)

@User:Cdr. Erwin Smith, As a brochure, it seems to have originated from HAL, and as such is not contentious. The problem was that the image link was just an image upload with no explanation around it. If you had in fact used the link shared above (with the post and the image), it would have authenticated the fact. So you can use this as a source (Link) provided that there is information in the brochure, that is not substantiated by other sources.Magentic Manifestations (talk) 13:06, 23 November 2025 (UTC)

Thank you ! Cdr. Erwin Smith (talk) 16:13, 23 November 2025 (UTC)

Sources to consider for Armenia and Tejas

The additions I've done regarding Armenia halting talks on maybe getting the Tejas are either too tabloidy or perhaps too leaning to Israel. I shall leave these here. Ominae (talk) 09:37, 25 November 2025 (UTC)

The first article that you've mentioned uses The Jerusalem Post as its source while the second article has no connection with the topic whatsoever Rfakjunkie (talk) 10:02, 25 November 2025 (UTC)

Proposal: Reclassify February 7 Naliya Incident.

The February 7, 2026 event is currently listed as a "hull loss/write-off." This classification is premature, constitutes Original Research (WP:NOR), and violates WP:VERIFY. Grounds for dispute: 1) Manufacturer Denial, HAL's official statement explicitly refutes a crash, classifying it as a "minor technical incident on ground." (Source: https://www.thehindu.com/news/national/tejas-jet-suffered-damage-to-airframe-while-landing-at-frontline-air-base/article70665518.ece) 2) No Official IAF Write-off is posted, The IAF has initiated a comprehensive technical review and grounded the fleet for checks, but has issued no official statement classifying the airframe as a hull loss. 3) WP:CRYSTAL & WP:NOR: Determining whether the aircraft will be repaired or scrapped depends on an ongoing evaluation. Assuming a write-off before the IAF Board of Inquiry publishes its findings is synthesizing a conclusion not found in reliable sources and predicting future outcomes. Proposed Action: Remove this incident from any "Hull Loss" or "Destroyed" counts, Update jet count from 35 to 36. Update the text to strictly reflect the verified facts only. Also the remove the write off part, as it's not officially written off yet. The wiki article states as if it's written off already (The print article mentions "likely" meaning it's not written off yet. Iaf also stated it minor, so write off not confirmed) Mamiya20112011 (talk) 05:29, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
