Apparent wording error in discussion of Qur'an 42:23

I noticed what may be an English-language error in the following sentence under the heading In the Quran and Hadith -> In the verses of the Quran:

"In the explanation and interpretation of verse 23 of Surah ash-Shura, Tabatabai in Al-Mizan, while reporting and criticizing the various sayings of the commentators, has said that the meaning of 'nearness' is the love of the Ahl al-Bayt of Muhammad; That is, Ali is Fatima, Hassan and Husayn."

The clause "That is, Ali is Fatima, Hassan and Husayn" appears to be grammatically incorrect and may not reflect the intended meaning of the source. Perhaps it was meant to indicate that the Ahl al-Bayt in question are Ali, Fatima, Hasan, and Husayn, or something similar. Could someone familiar with the source verify the intended wording and amend the text if appropriate? AcceptableLemon742 (talk) 22:08, 19 June 2026 (UTC)

While you are entitled to your perspective, Wikipedia is WP:NOTCENSORED as usual, so the image is fine. DMacks (talk) 03:29, 27 June 2026 (UTC)
Mainstream islamic tradition disapproves of depicting holy figures.
Furthermore, for an encyclopedia it is not an accurate portrait and presents no knowledge.
I kindly request you to remove the image as it may hurt the sentiments of many Muslims.
Thank you. ~2026-36824-41 (talk) 04:50, 28 June 2026 (UTC)
No. As a non-Islamic encyclopedia, it does not matter what any religious tradition says. You have not raised any new arguments that haven't been raised dozens of times before. The result is always the same. To be honest, you are wasting your time. DMacks (talk) 05:26, 28 June 2026 (UTC)
