"Pronounce as L-zero" means nothing. The Japanese pronounce the "ze" like in "zed" not like English-speakers who pronounce it like "zeal".Correctron (talk) 01:25, 23 April 2015 (UTC)

Rather than trying to show how the name is pronounced in Japanese, that note was actually added to indicate that the "0" in the name is read "zero" rather than "oh" or even "nought". I'm not sure how that could be better clarified in the lead without making everything too bulky. --DAJF (talk) 06:12, 23 April 2015 (UTC)

I think that DAJF is correct since in Japan this is exactly the way it is pronounced: L-zero (see Japanese references「Ｌ０（エルゼロ）系」). However, I am wondering if the title of the article matches the real name of the subject: please compare the character after the L in the title with the one in the text. I have checked if this is due to the Times New Roman vs Arial font effects. Also notice that things are crystal clear in the Wikipedia code (first sentence and infobox). Should we rename the title? I have modified the "Nihongo" template used in the article introduction to hopefully clarify the Japanese (Hepburn romanization) and English renderings of the name.

@Ameyoko: the character after the "L" is the number "0" (zero). Are you saying it appears differently, or should be rendered differently? What do you mean by wanting to rename the article? What would you suggest renaming it? --DAJF (talk) 14:50, 23 April 2015 (UTC)

@DAJF:, I meant that in the title, the character after the L appears as a o (alphabet) like in "Obama". When I double-checked in the Wikipedia search field, it fortunately, appears correctly. Compare this article with the "Logo" article and you will understand why it appears confusing. May be Wikipedia needs to look a little closer into this. Ameyoko (talk) 18:34, 23 April 2015 (UTC)

Ah, I see what you mean now. That is because of the way the number zero is rendered in the Times font now used for article titles. Personally, I think it was a poor choice of font when it was changed last year, and I use a format fix that restores the original sans serif typeface, which is why I didn't understand the problem initially. Maybe that would be another reason to complain to the powers that be about the default fonts used for English Wikipedia articles. --DAJF (talk) 23:25, 23 April 2015 (UTC)

The bogies are arranged in a Jacobs bogie configuration.
