Lok Kalyan Marg metro stationRace Course metro stationRace Course metro station – Since the station and the adjoining road were renamed, reliable sources have not adopted the new name to the extent that the old name continues to pervade. Per WP:COMMONNAME, and WP:CONSISTENT with articles such as Race Course Road and 7, Race Course Road, this article should be moved. — EarthDude (Talk) 09:34, 16 July 2026 (UTC)  Relisting. 1isall (talk | contribs) 12:50, 23 July 2026 (UTC)  Relisting. In solidarity, Destinyokhiria (talk / cont) 15:35, 30 July 2026 (UTC)

  • Oppose: The new name has been adopted by the news media, as far as I can see. Searching for Race Course metro station on Google News mostly brings up Mumbai Metro's plans to connect Mahalaxmi Racecourse instead. To look up our subject instead, one needs to search for Lok Kalyan Marg metro station instead, as that is the commonly used name in news reports. I can't find any references to a "Race Course metro station" that actually refer to this subject post-2020. TryKid[dubiousdiscuss] 20:26, 16 July 2026 (UTC)
  • Support Still more commonly used. Accesscrawl (talk) 04:29, 19 July 2026 (UTC)
  • Support There were reports of name change but the older name is still more commonly used. Koshuri (あ!) 09:17, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
  • Oppose. The claims that the old name continues to be the main one in use is a bit baffling, considering the evidence available. We have one link to a journey planner app using the old name. On the other hand, the first link posted by TryKid shows that the first result related to the station you get when doing a news-search using its old name is a 2016 article about how it was going to change name, while the second link shows a ton of recent sources using the new name. As far as I can tell there is no doubt that the new name is the common name. –Maltazarianparleyinvestigate 10:38, 7 August 2026 (UTC)
