- Please note: We use the "Common names" in English for our articles, not the "Official names", and changing the name can break internal links to those articles, and is confusing to our readers. - Arjayay (talk) 20:00, 26 November 2025 (UTC)
Mistake in Neighbours
Maharashtra is a state in the western peninsular region of India occupying a substantial portion of the Deccan Plateau. It is bordered by the Arabian Sea to the west, the Indian states of Karnataka and Goa to the south, Telangana to the southeast and Chhattisgarh to the east, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh to the north, and the Indian union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu to the northwest.
Check the validity of this statement as this is geographically incorrect. ~2026-65876-8 (talk) 12:16, 30 January 2026 (UTC)
- I don't see anything wrong in it. Could you clarify what might be missing? - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 13:10, 30 January 2026 (UTC)
No additional official language.
Maharashtra only has one official language and that is Marathi. There is no additional official languages of Maharashtra but this article wrongly claims Hindi and English are additional official languages. https://www.indiacode.nic.in/handle/123456789/15763?locale=en
Maharashtra Official Language Act, 1964 removed English as an additional official language and Hindi was never official in Mahrashtra. Please edit the article as early as possible. Advay Phadke (talk) 03:33, 19 April 2026 (UTC)
Demographics - Languages - Lodhi-an hindi language
The information - In Demographic page's Language section there is a language called Lodhi and Powari of which the page that opens for Lodhi is wrong one ! It opens a Tribal language of the same name rather than the original Lodhi Language but as I know the page isn't created on that Language but atleast it shouldn't open that Tribal language page !
Please Take Some Action 🙏 ~2026-27310-61 (talk) 10:45, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
