    QPQ: Done.

Overall: Earwig indicates that copyright violations are unlikely. Spot-checks showed no issues. The article is new enough and long enough. QPQ has been satisfied. Concerning the hooks, I would vote for ALT3. All are sourced and most are interesting, though I would opt against the first submission. JJonahJackalope (talk) 19:16, 1 March 2026 (UTC)

Noting here that I do not believe this to be a violation of WP:DYKBLP as the hook is not "unduly negative" compared to the general content of the article and sources. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 15:05, 18 March 2026 (UTC)

    minor lead change.

According to this article: Link, Tartaglione was not the only cellmate of Epstein. OrbitalVoid49 (talk) 04:15, 24 March 2026 (UTC)

    To add to article

If we aim to be properly encyclopedic, shouldn't the text of this article state in which prison Tartaglione is currently being held? Isn't he in California? And shouldn't it also state when he was transferred to his current prison from the one in New York City? ~2026-20625-89 (talk) 00:08, 2 May 2026 (UTC)

I don't think it is encyclopedic, but I don't really care. Do you have a proposal for how any existing text would change? TarnishedPathtalk 00:10, 2 May 2026 (UTC)
Just here adding some information to the discussion: The prison where he is being held (Atwater) is already listed in the infobox, as that information is publicly available through the Bureau of Prisons. But it can be difficult to find reputable secondary sources about prisoner transfers. (I personally couldn’t find a reliable source that stated the date of transfer, outside of a personal blog written by an associate of Tartaglione’s.) AlienvsEditor (talk) 02:44, 2 May 2026 (UTC)

    Creating consensus on name pronunciation

There have been changes to the respell pronunciation of Tartaglione over the past couple of weeks. Specifically, - @IvanScrooge98 added the respell as TAR-tag-LEE-ohn - @Juri Ant changed it to TAR-tal-YOH-neh

Personally, I’ve only heard it as the former, but I haven’t heard Tartaglione himself pronounce it. I also don’t have any experience with getting respell consensus for an article. Does anyone have any thoughts on this, or have connections with an editor more experienced with pronunciation consensus who could chime in? AlienvsEditor (talk) 02:54, 2 May 2026 (UTC)

Curtesy ping @Tamzin, given you have just edited on this. TarnishedPathtalk 05:58, 7 May 2026 (UTC)
I just reverted Juri Ant's edit for consistency. I did check first for any audio of Tartaglione pronouncing it himself, and at a glance couldn't find any, but was swayed to maintain the original pronunciation IvanScrooge added on the basis of , which, while not his own pronunciation, is at least a case of it being pronounced by people who'd spoken with him. I'd say the question here is whether newscasts like that are enough to substantiate that pronunciation, or whether none should be given at all. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|🤷) 06:09, 7 May 2026 (UTC)
