What does this mean? Is it true?

"The Old South Meeting House is claimed to be the second oldest establishment existent in the United States."

It is not even the second oldest church in Massachusetts -- see

Great fire

Another wiki claims (without citation) the church was saved by a citizens brigade using wet blankets. Is this true? It would make a great detail to add if it is, but I couldn't verify it.--Skintigh (talk) 17:13, 4 January 2013 (UTC)

QPQ: No - User has 2 outstanding QPQs.
Overall: Good nomination overall, just need to sort out your outstanding QPSs. I find the first hook most interesting, the ALT's are less so. Thanks, Lflin16 - :) (talk) 00:54, 11 March 2026 (UTC)

@Lflin16: Thanks for the review. I already did the QPQs at Template:Did you know nominations/Grace and St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, though; that was a nomination of two articles, so it can be applied toward two QPQ credits. Epicgenius (talk) 01:18, 11 March 2026 (UTC)
@Epicgenius - Thanks for the clarification. Lflin16 - :) (talk)
