Relay to Grand Pavilion, Porthcawl

Can a more authoritative figure be sourced as a reference for those present for the Miners' Eisteddfod at the Grand Pavilion, Porthcawl, on 5 October 1957? The Jeff Sparrow article states only that it was "filled with perhaps 5,000 people". As the current capacity of the Main Hall is stated to be 643, the figure of 5,000 seems inflated, and inherently implausible, even if the broadcast was simultaneously broadcast to those assembled in the lesser hall in the basement.Ntmr (talk) 11:22, 3 April 2024 (UTC)

Repeating Phrases and Formatting

The article repeats itself regularly, with the first section, supposedly only discussing Robeson's life up until 1927, containing a lot of information about his marriage issues and several of his shows which he only starred in after 1927. I am not a very qualified editor, but someone with more experience should resolve these formatting issues so the article doesn't repeat this information. ~2025-35047-27 (talk) 18:44, 3 December 2025 (UTC)

Were there any passages in particular that stood out to you as overly repetitive? LincolnMagnus (talk) 21:57, 11 December 2025 (UTC)

Too many citations?

I noticed that ideological awakening section seems to have a citation for almost every single phrase. It reads as kind of excessive, yet given that this sort of thing can be contentious, maybe it is worthwhile to have so many? What do other people think?
