it's now called "Peres Center for Peace and Innovation" and has a lot of updated info, for example the Israeli innovation center, a visitor center that was opened in the building. Shenhavster (talk) 18:58, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Jack Frost (talk) 09:19, 10 January 2021 (UTC)

Hello! There is a recent development that is worth adding to this page. It is to mention that: on March 3, 2021, the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation launched an annual tradition of awarding the Center’s knightly award, “Medal of Distinction”, to 11 groundbreaking women, role models, who are designing a new future in Israel. The 11 women who received the 2020 Medal of Distinction are : Prof. Shulamit Levenberg, Dr. Yale Gold Zamir, Julia Zaher, Lili Ben-Ami, Maisa Halabi Elshekh, Dr. Orna Berry, Yuvi Tashome-Katz, Hana Rado, Ruth Polachek, Shirin Natour Hafi, and Baroness Ariana de Rothschild.

- User:ArteckCaps Yes thats good to add but I'm not sure where - where do you suggest? I corrected the typo in the second link you provided --Trimton (talk) 19:09, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
- I suggest putting it at the end of “Peres Peace House” before reaching “Awards”. Though, it would also make sense to restructure the article to make place for further elaboration on current/ future activities by the institution. I’m new to this, I’m sure you know more than I do. Edit Request: Add historical "Peace Infotech" initiative to Business/Economics section
This edit request has been answered. Set the |answered= parameter to no to reactivate your request. |
I would like to propose a small addition to the "Business and economics" section to provide a specific historical example of the "technology projects" currently mentioned. This addition is supported by an independent secondary source (Academic/NGO publication).
Current text:
Projects include private sector partnerships, regional economic research, cross-border tourism projects, technology projects, and the creation of a Palestinian business directory.[4]
Proposed change (appended addition):
Projects include private sector partnerships, regional economic research, cross-border tourism projects, technology projects, and the creation of a Palestinian business directory.[4] Historically, these technology projects have included the "Peace Infotech" initiative, which established a network of corporate partners such as Hewlett-Packard, Sapiens, and Visuality Systems to promote regional high-tech cooperation.[1]
Reason for change: The current "technology projects" mention is vague. Adding the "Peace Infotech" initiative provides a concrete historical example of the Center's work with the private sector during its foundational years. The source is an independent report on business-led peace initiatives. Raffawiz (talk) 13:52, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
Not done: your request appears to have been generated by a large language model. Day Creature (talk) 14:23, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
- Not really, maybe you are referring to the [4] that was simply copied and pasted from the original (non-source) article.
- If it's easier, here is the whole (source) paragraph as I would update it:
- === Business and economics ===
- Providing space for interaction between stakeholders on both sides through joint economic research (in partnership with the AIX Group), capacity-building workshops and professional networking to foster cross-border cooperation across a wide range of business fields including hi-tech, confectionery, food, textile and shoe-making and more.
- Projects include private sector partnerships, regional economic research, cross-border tourism projects, technology projects, and the creation of a Palestinian business directory.[2] Historically, these technology projects have included the "Peace Infotech" initiative, which established a network of corporate partners such as Hewlett-Packard, Sapiens, and Visuality Systems to promote regional high-tech cooperation.[3] Raffawiz (talk) 14:46, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
