I’m a medical student and I couldn’t help but notice in the death section, they describe Lewy body dementia as an umbrella term encompassing Lewy body dementia (lbd) and Parkinson’s disease dementia (pd). It should be Parkinson’s disease dementia(pdd). Sorry to be semantic but this is important because the difference between lbd and pdd is that Parkinson’s presents with motor symptoms first with the rare and final stage being cognitive impairment in the form of Parkinson’s disease dementia(pdd). Pd is just Parkinson’s disease. Lbd on the other hand presents with hallucinations and dementia first and then motor effects. 71.67.208.35 (talk) 05:07, 30 August 2025 (UTC)
