Both citation requests are adequately dealt with in The Irish Times obituary, included in the Reference section. It surely leads naturally from the cohort of former students mentioned that his influence was immense. Beyond this, it is surely unhelpful to demand formal confirmation of something that is agreed with by every Irish humanities academic from the mid 1960's to the present day.
