Proposed merge of Sh 2-114 with Sh 2-113
I think it's better to merge Sh 2-113 into Sh 2-114 and changing the name into more popular and recognized name Flying Dragon Nebula Abdullah1099 (talk) 13:05, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
- Oppose: same name, different objects, much confusion. Probably the same name because the two objects are being confused, or sometimes imaged together, some images are just plain wrong. Sh2-114 looks like a flying dragon, SH2-113 doesn't. Might be better not to refer to SH2-113 as the flying dragon nebula at all. See for a labelled image showing both (note that north is to the right as is common to represent the flying dragon form). Lithopsian (talk) 16:11, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
- Ok, I understood Abdullah1099 (talk) 16:14, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
- I'm understanding this to be a withdrawal of the proposal and I've removed the merge tags. Thebiguglyalien (talk) 23:45, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
