- ... that the song "Hot Air Balloon" from Friko's Something Worth Waiting For was inspired by the colorful balloons of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta?
- Source: "Out April 24 on ATO Records, the transient-natured album is carried by songs like the indie mad dash of “Choo Choo,” the pensive charmer “Dear Bicycle” and the soft hum of “Hot Air Balloon,” the latter of which was inspired by the band waking up one morning in an Albuquerque Cracker Barrel parking lot to see the colorful orbs of the city’s International Balloon Fiesta filling the sky."
- ALT1: ... that Friko's Something Worth Waiting For features a "train song", "bicycle song" and even a "hot air balloon song"? Source: "Friko's new album has a train song. It has a bicycle song. It even has a hot air balloon song. When the young Chicago combo said transit was a major theme of new album Something Worth Waiting For, they weren't kidding." https://stereogum.com/2494966/friko-are-emphatically-getting-there/interviews/qa
- ALT2: ... that the main theme of Friko's Something Worth Waiting For is transit and it therefore features songs about trains, bicycles and even hot air balloons? Hi, thank you for bringing up this article, long enough and well sourced; QPQ not yet required, and nominated on the same day it was moved to mainspace. The article currently has some issues:
- It relies on quotations which may fall under Earwig copyvio detector. Although it may not be a major problem, I suggest trimming and rephrasing them to comply WP:DUE.
- The album genre in infobox appears to be unsourced currently.
- I would lean more towards the original hook but suggest more tight words. The other two hooks do not appear interesting or unusual.
- Thank you! M. Billoo 10:38, 27 May 2026 (UTC)
- @M.Billoo2000: I did a little rewrite to use less quotes. Still a bit quote heavy but I think it's good enough and I'm a bit short on time recently. I added a source for the genre in the infobox as well. As for the hook, I don't believe it can be shortened much further. Although perhaps we can use ALT0a: "... that the song "Hot Air Balloon" from Friko's Something Worth Waiting For was inspired by the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta?" instead and remove the part about the colorful balloons. Thank you. For now I am marking ALT0a a good to go. You can also consider expanding the article, considering it has received SIGCOV, though it may require another review then. Here are some of the useful references for expansion: . M. Billoo 18:05, 27 May 2026 (UTC)
