Suggestion for one of the missing citations
I would suggest using the following citation for the aftermath section of this article: Yaqub, Salim. Containing Arab Nationalism: The Eisenhower Doctrine and the Middle East. Chapel Hill: University of North Carolina Press, 2004.

Palestinian Liberation Movement?
In one of the sections, the Palestinian National Movement is referred to as the Palestinian Liberation Movement. This seems like biased language that should be removed Yavneh (talk) 02:52, 10 May 2026 (UTC)
- It is referred to as the Palestinian liberation movement, exactly as in the source. It has no caps, which means that is not referring to a specific organisation, but instead to the liberation movement of the Palestinians. It is also linked to Palestinian nationalism and not to Palestine Liberation Organization. However, the reliability of the source is questioned. So, find a better source, write a text, and you can make an edit request to change this text. Friendly, Lova Falk (talk) 07:39, 18 May 2026 (UTC)

Description of suggested change: Egyptian flag in the summary window is from the wrong period. In 1956 it was the Free Officers flag of 1953

In the "Egyptian policies in 1956", change "Aswan high dam" to "Aswan High Dam"; move the link to this article from the second mention of the dam to this one. TedWinstonIII (talk) 19:09, 26 May 2026 (UTC)

Description of suggested change:
In the Infobox military conflict, the number 5,000 is from page 70 of Schiff (1974).
An external link can be used in Template:Sfn:
{{Sfn|Schiff|1974|p=[https://archive.org/details/historyofisraeli0000schi/page/70/mode/2up?q=%22more+than+5%2C000+Egyptians+were+taken+prisoner%22 70]}}
The number "5,000" should be amended to "5,000+", since Schiff (1974) says "more than".

Already done The infobox includes a range from 5,000–30,000+ captured (using two sources). If there's something else you wanted added, let me know. Streetr4 (talk) 02:39, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
- For reference, here is the wiki markup in the infobox that needs to be changed:
- | 5,000{{Sfn|Schiff|1974}}{{page needed|date=January 2024}}–30,000+
- Please remove the Template:Page needed and cite page 70 for the first source exactly as above -- it has already been tested in the sandbox.

weirdly structured text
Change below confusingly worded text:
"Menzies' argued for compensation for the Suez Canal Company and the "establishment of principles" for the future use of the canal in a 7 September official communique to Nasser, and called for a convention to recognise Egyptian sovereignty of the canal, but for the establishment of an international body to run the canal."

"Menzies argued for compensation for the Suez Canal Company and the “establishment of principles” for the future use of the canal in a 7 September official communiqué to Nasser. He called for a convention that would recognise Egyptian sovereignty over the canal while establishing an international body to run it." ~2026-38124-18 (talk) 10:37, 5 July 2026 (UTC)
- What is confusing about it? Slatersteven (talk) 10:38, 5 July 2026 (UTC)
Done Separated into two sentences for better readability. Cinderella157 (talk) 00:00, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
