I propose adding the following links to the "External Links" section:

Optionally, as sub-bullet to the Fandom link:

These are the links I can think of for now. If I think of more, I will create an additional post. Thank you for reading. TheDadams3 (talk) 23:54, 14 October 2025 (UTC)

Introductory line is factually wrong

Hello,

I see that the introductory line makes an absolutely false statement:

"The Backrooms are a fictional location originating from a short film by Kane Parson in September 23 1996." Not only did the concept of the Backrooms precede Kane Parsons' short film, but the date is also absolutely wrong, with no citations to back up the claim. The page later goes on to correctly credit the 4chan creepypasta as its origin.

Could someone please correct this mistake? Thank you! ~2026-46739-6 (talk) 08:46, 22 January 2026 (UTC)

Revert the page to its previous version. (Change "The Backrooms are a fictional location originating from a short film by Kane Parson in September 23 1996." to "The Backrooms are a fictional location originating from a 2019 4chan thread.")
