2004 game not a "spiritual successor" to 1985 game
I don't think one should call the 2004 game a "spiritual successor" to the 1985 game; seriously, if you've played both, you'll know they are completely different, and it's clear the name was only re-used for it's marketing value. (e.g. calling Dragon Age: Origins a "spiritual successor" to Baldur's Gate makes sense... but with The Bard's Tale, it makes no sense whatsoever.) At any rate, that is a debate more suited to the pages themselves, and best left off this disambiguation page. -- Mecandes (talk) 20:55, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
Suggesting more info
I came to this article wanting to discover a bit about this series in general. I remember the name, but don't think I very saw or played. I'd like to see more about the nature of the game. Was it text or graphic based? Did later versions migrate to graphics? SailOn (talk) 11:17, 25 October 2025 (UTC)
