Returning to DYK--in earnest--well after taking some self-exile from WP in the wake of Milton's aftermath and concerns over my reviewing style at the time. Took four months to get this finally going (and off an AFC queue that became rather worse for wear in my near-absence), but here we finally are. (Not to mention the throughline of this 1995 title strongly brings another, more recent DYK-to-be to mind--and my own off-WP writing career to date; you'll figure it out after you select "Draft" as a namespace option on my contributions list as of this writing.)

Another G13 appeal, concerning a kidlit title promised on said queue for ages, is on the horizon. Wish me luck till then...

• Article is new enough, long enough, and within policy. QPQ is done. I have a few alt hooks of interest that I could suggest if this is deemed not interesting enough, but I think it works. It is verified to the cited source. @Slgrandson: The plot is difficult with this novel as it really doesn't have a straight forward narrative. The handling of it is good enough to pass WP:DYKCOMPLETE as is, but I might suggest (optional and shouldn't hold up approval) that the character of Vincent and his critical feedback be mentioned, and maybe a stronger emphasis on the narrator's struggle with the writing process, because writing process is a central part of the novel, and this could be emphasized more in the plot summary.
