Fair use rationale for Image:Vicice.jpg

Image:Vicice.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I would like to apologize for abandoning my earlier review. I am truly sorry but I hope to return to editing more frequently now Olliefant (she/her) 04:37, 29 June 2026 (UTC)
Lead
- Doctor Who missing episodes is linked twice
- Adjusted. Magneton Considerer: Pokelego999 (Talk) (Contribs) 05:23, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
- Why no executive producer?
- Because there is none listed anywhere to my knowledge. The Complete History for example does not mention anyone filling this role at all. Magneton Considerer: Pokelego999 (Talk) (Contribs) 05:23, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
Plot
- Looks good, I would watch it to confirm but... you know
Production
- Can you cut down the big quote?
- Removed. I had previously removed it but it seems like an IP editor snuck it back in. Magneton Considerer: Pokelego999 (Talk) (Contribs) 05:23, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
Broadcast and reception
- Any contemporary reviews?
- The Complete History only mentions a single child finding the Ice Warriors frightening in Junior Points of View. I did a brief search of British newspaper archives and couldn't find anything substantial beyond brief mention of the Warriors being terrifying. Nothing incredibly substantial that isn't already covered. Magneton Considerer: Pokelego999 (Talk) (Contribs) 05:23, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
- Can some prose on averages and peaks and whatnot be added?
- None of the sources discuss these kinds of things to my memory. Magneton Considerer: Pokelego999 (Talk) (Contribs) 05:23, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
- "Subsequently Doctor Who remained relatively unknown in German-speaking countries" how is this related to this serial being unsold?
- They refused to buy the series following the review, resulting in the series being unknown in the country as a result. The refusal to take The Ice Warriors directly led to that essentially. Magneton Considerer: Pokelego999 (Talk) (Contribs) 05:23, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
Commercial releases
- I would cut the subheadings
- Done. Magneton Considerer: Pokelego999 (Talk) (Contribs) 05:23, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
- "with parts 2 and 3 being presented in animated form" -> "with parts two and three being recreated in animated form"
- Done. Magneton Considerer: Pokelego999 (Talk) (Contribs) 05:23, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
- Can you expand on the animated versions?
- I couldn't really find much more on them then what's currently in the article. If there's any big info pieces you can find that I missed let me know. Magneton Considerer: Pokelego999 (Talk) (Contribs) 05:23, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
References
- Spot checks found nothing
- Reliability of Serienjunkies?
- Serienjunkies seems to be owned by a pretty big German news outlet (Ippen Media) and follows their editorial guidelines, so this should be fine I believe, though do let me know on that. Magneton Considerer: Pokelego999 (Talk) (Contribs) 05:23, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
- Reliability of Popmatters?
- No exact discussion on it on-wiki but most editors I've seen using it seem to treat it as generally reliable. They're a pretty notable name so I'd trust the editor judgement on that. Magneton Considerer: Pokelego999 (Talk) (Contribs) 05:23, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
- Can you make the formatting of the sources consistent?
- Done. Magneton Considerer: Pokelego999 (Talk) (Contribs) 05:23, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
@Olliefant: No worries about the review issues! I hope all is well and you are doing good :)
I have addressed all the above and left comments on a few. Please let me know if you feel anything else needs to be done. Magneton Considerer: Pokelego999 (Talk) (Contribs) 05:23, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
