Add hiatus to show history

Possible Cancellation
I think it's important to mention there may never be a new top gear series ever again after the team has been torn apart from Flintoff's horror crash. 2A00:23C4:F8A0:4C01:996F:46D2:34CD:5E91 (talk) 20:40, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
- That’s pure speculation. The current statement of indefinite suspension is more than sufficient.Tvx1 00:46, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
Given some a number of H&S events, is it not clear that this old vehicle of a show has almost reached the end of an increasingly dangerous road? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.149.166.190 (talk) 21:54, 21 November 2023 (UTC)

In the Development paragraph it states 'Wilman took on the role of the show's executive producer, while Clarkson became part of the hosting line-up'. The Executive Producer was Gary Hunter, Wilman was Series Producer, who only became the Exec when Hunter left after series 4. Garygenarohunter (talk) 08:20, 26 October 2023 (UTC)
Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. M.Bitton (talk) 18:22, 26 October 2023 (UTC)- Most importantly you need to supply some reliable sources. We can’t take your word for it. In fact, the entire section needs sources. Top Gear (2002 TV series) → Top Gear – It is the primary version compared to the historical series. Per WP:DIFFCAPS, we can distinguish between Top Gear and top gear using different pages. PhotographyEdits (talk) 23:21, 7 September 2025 (UTC) — Relisting. Left guide (talk) 07:29, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose. While the 2002 version was most popular, the original ran for 20+ years and 500+ episodes, and has considerable long-term notability. There are also a number of notable topics at the Top Gear dabpage. No primary topic. 162 etc. (talk) 16:25, 8 September 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose. No evidence that this is the primary topic, or even that there is one, but even if there is one, the 2002 TV series seems an unlikely candidate. The DAB should stay at the base name Top Gear. Andrewa (talk) 01:00, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
- Support. I agree with @PhotographyEdits That this is an example of unnecessary disambiguation. Following Wikipedia guidelines, I looked at the page views of the various top gear pages. The vast majority of Wikipedia users are looking for the 2002 TV series. It is clearly, based on the evidence, the primary topic. Knowledgeispow333r (talk) 23:56, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
- This may provide yet another example for The_Problem_With_Page_Views. Andrewa (talk) 23:50, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose No evidence of a primary topic between the 1977 and 2002 TV series. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 19:11, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
