request sourcing

I've actually removed a good deal here, as unsourced. To reinclude, please provide multiple reliable sources. Regards, NonvocalScream (talk) 21:51, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

Edit request

I work for zain and have been trying to update her page with her own specific edits but it keeps getting removed, can I please have access again and will try to add more reliable sources? Ive never edited a wiki page before so clearly I did it wrong  Preceding unsigned comment added by Julaiwig (talkcontribs) Julaiwig (talk contribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic.

Help has been asked for and given at the help desk. This is not actually a request for an edit; I am going to close it. 199.208.172.35 (talk) 16:48, 26 October 2022 (UTC)

Bloopers

My Youtube video link was removed. I assume that bloopers (scandalous ones) are not "fair and balanced" on WP? (Youtube blooper video) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.181.70.140 (talk) 09:26, 5 June 2010 (UTC)

@Julaiwig: Thank you for trying to use the request edit system. However, the text you wrote above appears to be a draft intended to be a wholesale replacement of the current article. It is written in a very promotional manner (phrases like: "believes that powerful storymaking can transform traditional narratives and shape new realities", "deploys the superpowers of creatives", and "Zain is a highly sought-after facilitator and interviewer" - just to name a few from the first couple paragraphs. You also are not citing any reliable sources that are independant of her influance to support the content.
We welcome updates to outdated information, but please make concise edit requests in a "change X to Y because of Z (source)" manner. ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 16:56, 26 October 2022 (UTC)
Okay makes sense, I will work on some more concise edits. Thank you! Julaiwig (talk) 21:17, 26 October 2022 (UTC)

Requested edits — COI declared (2026 update)

I am the subject of this article and am declaring a conflict of interest. I am not editing the article directly. The following are specific, sourced edit requests for a neutral editor to review and implement. Each change is supported by independent, reliable sources.

1. Update the lead paragraph

The current lead describes Verjee only as a CNN anchor and does not reflect work from the past 12 years. Proposed replacement:

Zain Verjee (born February 11, 1974) is a Kenyan-born Canadian journalist, entrepreneur, and artificial intelligence communications strategist. She anchored and reported for CNN for 14 years, serving as the network's State Department correspondent and anchor of CNN International's European daytime programme World One. Since leaving CNN in 2014, she has led theZVG, a strategic communications advisory. She served as founding Executive Producer and Host of the Qatar Economic Forum powered by Bloomberg (2021 and 2022), and co-created Unstoppable Africa with entrepreneur Strive Masiyiwa and United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohamed. In late 2023, she co-founded The Rundown Studio, an artificial intelligence communications product company focused on emerging markets in Africa and the Gulf. Verjee is an Executive Fellow at Harvard University's Digital, Data, Design Institute (D3). In 2024, she was named one of the 100 Most Influential Africans by New African magazine.
