Turie

The municipality lies at an altitude of 441 metres (1,447 ft)^[2] and covers an area of 27.20 km² (10.50 sq mi) (2025).^[4]

It has a population of 2174 people (31 December 2025).^[6]

In year 2021 was 2050 people by ethnicity 1983 as Slovak, 64 as Not found out, 17 as Romani, 8 as Other, 6 as Czech, 2 as Rusyn, 2 as German, 2 as Hungarian, 1 as Italian, 1 as Russian and 1 as Croatian.
