Information icon Hello, I'm WhatADrag07. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Azziad Nasenya, but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. WhatADrag07 (talk) 20:51, 11 October 2025 (UTC)

Yeah, I have since updated my edit and added a citation. Akili88 (talk) 15:15, 12 October 2025 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm NicheSports. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Kipchumba Murkomen seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please take a look at our WP:NPOV policy for how to describe events in neutral, encyclopedic terms. Please reach out to me on my talk page if you have any questions! NicheSports (talk) 02:20, 12 October 2025 (UTC)

Why would you term it "less that neutral" yet it is someone's way of life as known by everyone and it's does not take any sides. If you believe it's not neutral then you removing it is not the right move to take Akili88 (talk) 14:52, 12 October 2025 (UTC)
Hi @Akili88 per my comment above I think it could be fine to cover the topic you added to the article. My issue was with how you described it. Events should be described in neutral, encyclopedic terms NicheSports (talk) 15:00, 12 October 2025 (UTC)
Hallo. However biased a you say my article is, it is factual and verifiable. You do not remove sourced information from the encyclopedia . I also see no bias because there is no other version of the story that I left out and no editorial bias. If there is, then I will update my edit. Akili88 (talk) 15:24, 12 October 2025 (UTC)
The policy that you shared states that information can be removed if it violates WP:NPOV, which is the type of notice I provided to you above. Additionally, WP:DON'T PRESERVE says that extra concern must be taken with WP:BLPs, which Kipchumba Murkomen is. I saw that you added the content back in its original form - can you please rewrite it to use more neutral and encyclopedic language? NicheSports (talk) 15:32, 12 October 2025 (UTC)
Ok. I will use more neutral and encyclopedic language. You may also contribute instead of reverting. Akili88 (talk) 15:46, 12 October 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Winners of 2025 Quant Global Championship

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Winners of 2025 Quant Global Championship requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.) that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Thanks for the Insight. I have taken into consideration all that you have outlined. I don't have any affiliation to the person I have written the page about or to any organization affiliated with the person. I have adhered to Wikipedia content policies. Akili88 (talk) 07:46, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
Then how is the picture on the page your own work? ScrabbleTiles (talk) 07:48, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
It is not entirely my work. I specified that it contains works done by others. Akili88 (talk) 07:59, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
You uploaded the picture on the page as your own work (a photo that you took). Did you take the photo or not? ScrabbleTiles (talk) 08:00, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
I'm not the one that took. Akili88 (talk) 08:07, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
Do not take pictures off social media and then upload them as your own work. I’d suggest you stop uploading images as you clearly have no idea of what you’re doing. ScrabbleTiles (talk) 08:12, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
I did no take the picture off social media. Where are you basing your claims from anyway? Akili88 (talk) 08:19, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
Reverse image search. I’ve tagged all the images on commons for speedy deletion, with the sources you got them from. ScrabbleTiles (talk) 08:21, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
Are you assuming that I am not the one who took the photo or wasn't involved in any way whatsoever in the creation of those photos?
Because clearly that's what you are doing Akili88 (talk) 08:25, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
These photos come from many different sources/social media accounts. So yes. Look at your comment earlier, you literally said “I'm not the one that took”. ScrabbleTiles (talk) 08:30, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
I am not the one that took all the photos but I was involved in taking and creating those photos, that's why I have cited them as own work, for some I have cited 'Own work but contains works of others. That doesn't mean that I was taking them off social media and posting as you are saying, the social media account holders are the ones that took them from different platforms and posted them. Even those who posted them didn't take them, but I was involved in taking them. It's what I do. You don't have the right to mark them for speedy deletion, They don't violet any copyright law. Akili88 (talk) 08:40, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
What platform were they originally uploaded to? ScrabbleTiles (talk) 08:55, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
I’ve removed the tagging on some of them where, by further reasearch, there doesn’t appear to be one clear source. ScrabbleTiles (talk) 09:09, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
I have removed the COI flag after the photo in question has been resolved as it has been removed. Akili88 (talk) 12:21, 2 November 2025 (UTC)

Information icon Hi Akili88! I noticed that you recently made an edit at Willy Mutunga and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, "minor edit" refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typos or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Aoi (青い) (talk) 01:07, 29 November 2025 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Mirrors
