"Promotion" has a broader meaning on Wikipedia than elsewhere; it is not limited to commericial utility or selling something. See WP:YESPROMO. Given this, I'd urge you to change your unblock appeal. The request still indicates a conflict of interest and a plan to continue editing or writing about the same subject, which was part of the original concern. (The user mentions “Arulbalachandran D” in "If you are unblocked, what topic areas will you edit in?").

@Arulbalachandran D, It seems like the main issue is the conflict of interest around writing an article about yourself. Wikipedia generally does not allow that due to WP:COI, so it would help a lot if you clearly acknowledge that and say that you will avoid it in the future.
