Autopatrolled granted

Hi B33tleMania12, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled user right to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed', and no longer appear in the new pages feed. Autopatrolled is assigned to prolific creators of articles, where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers.
Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and incoming links to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.
Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Sennecaster (Chat) 02:08, 14 December 2025 (UTC)

- That means we have to go back to the village pump about your WP:MASSCREATE rate, because the closing summary by S Marshall at Wikipedia:Village pump (proposals)/Archive 224#Permission to create beetle articles at a pace that exceeds the normal limit said to have another discussion if/when you received autopatrolled. Plantdrew, will you be able to help with that? WhatamIdoing (talk) 02:27, 26 December 2025 (UTC)
- I don't think we do. It's the additional requirements that expire now. The permission to create 100/day survives.—S Marshall T/C 02:35, 26 December 2025 (UTC)
- That's not what I remember (though I defer to your interpretation). Hopefully this can continue to be a low-drama expansion of Wikipedia's contents. WhatamIdoing (talk) 02:39, 26 December 2025 (UTC)
- @WhatamIdoing:, from what I'm seeing skimming the VPP discussion, autopatrolled was a minor side discussion. S Marshall's close gave the autopatrolled issue more weight than I would've thought the overall discussion warranted (but that's OK). Plantdrew (talk) 07:00, 26 December 2025 (UTC)
- Ok, thank you all. I will keep on doing as I do! B33tleMania12 (talk) 08:37, 29 December 2025 (UTC)

Triodontella flavofusca moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Triodontella flavofusca. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it is a stub of no encyclopedic value that will serve to irritate readers. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Cremastra (talk · contribs) 03:25, 8 February 2026 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Autoserica

A tag has been placed on Category:Autoserica indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. ✗plicit 11:26, 18 February 2026 (UTC)
- Yes please delete, this genus is now a synonym! B33tleMania12 (talk) 11:27, 18 February 2026 (UTC)

Neoserica
I notice that you have edited this article alot recently and therefore assume (along with your username) that you are more knowledgeable about this area than I am. Could you check the use of the word "Sugenus" in the article. Is this a misspelling of subgenus or is this a gap in my knowledge (and my ability to use google). Waacstats (talk) 21:01, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
- It is a misspelling indeed, thanks for spotting! I fixed it.. B33tleMania12 (talk) 21:13, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
Regarding new beetle pages!
Hi @B33tleMania12, I was just reaching out to ask that you add the specific page as reference on the final citation listed on your recent page creations for beetles in the Heterochelus genus. The sourcing looks sound, and I trust you haven't attempted to mislead, but I obviously need to make sure. Thereafter, once I know the page that's been sourced, I'd be happy to mark your new articles as reviewed. Thanks for the contributions, beetles are pretty cool! Best, CSGinger14 (talk) 08:35, 12 March 2026 (UTC)
- You want me to add the page in the source the description is from for each species you mean? Sure, can do that, but do you want me to go back and add that to all of them? Or can I add them from now on? B33tleMania12 (talk) 08:41, 12 March 2026 (UTC)
- Like this: Heterochelus controversus (I added the specific page of the description between brackets after the pages for the whole document)
- But if you want to check if the description is in the source I list as a reference, you could just open the document and search for the species name?
