Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in 2026 Siverek school shooting, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. See MOS:GEOLINK & MOS:DATE. Turkey uses DMY. Raskuly (🐰) 03:44, 15 April 2026 (UTC)

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Party Cannon when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Category:2026 disasters in Peru

A tag has been placed on Category:2026 disasters in Peru indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 18:05, 18 April 2026 (UTC)

{{M}} usage

When using {{M}} to report an earthquake's magnitude, the number should be put inside the template. For example, rather than

{{M|w|link=y}} 6.2–6.5

instead use

{{M|w|6.2–6.5|link=y}}

or

{{M|w|link=y|6.2–6.5}}

When the number is put inside the template, the template uses a non-breaking space between the magnitude symbol and the number, in accordance with MOS:NBSP. — LucasBrown 19:53, 20 April 2026 (UTC)

Information icon Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in 2026 Muscatine shootings. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. See MOS:GEOLINK. Level 2 warning because you were notified about this back in April. What did I do? Bloxzge 025 (talk) 03:58, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
You changed Muscatine, Iowa to Muscatine, Iowa, which does not follow the Manual of Style. You also did that in the infobox, but you created the infobox, whereas in the lead you changed it to not follow the MoS. Raskuly 🐰 04:48, 2 June 2026 (UTC)

Time

Hey! When you add tornadoes on the List of Canadian tornadoes in 2026 page, can you please convert the time into UTC? ELLEWEATHERRRR (talk) 19:47, 4 June 2026 (UTC)

How? Bloxzge 025 (talk) 20:18, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
on the NTP, lets say something in Alberta says 17:10, search into Google "17:10 MDT to UTC", just put whatever time zone that province is in, then put that in the time thing ELLEWEATHERRRR (talk) 21:29, 4 June 2026 (UTC)

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to change the title of Draft:Gaspi (YouTuber) by cutting its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Gaspi (YouTuber). This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Your question

Hi Bloxzge 025! In your edit summary at 2026 Venezuela earthquake, you asked "What do you mean the Xinhua article only says 3 dead?", referring to this edit of mine. To clarify, in the version of the article that I edited, the source for "your" numbers (32+ dead, 700+ injured) was a different URL, see the edit difference linked above, which gave the number of deaths as 3. The confusion probably arose because we were editing the article at nearly the same time. Hope that helps. Renerpho (talk) 05:36, 25 June 2026 (UTC)

MMI derived from ShakeMap

Hi Bloxzge_025, this message concerns recent edits in several earthquake articles where you altered the MMI. In some USGS earthquake pages, under the Impact tab, a seismologist would provide descriptions of the earthquake's impact and may include felt MMI. There's an example for the 2012 Shwebo earthquake: " Felt (VII) at Shwebo and (III) at Male and Mandalay." and for the 2012 El Salvador event: " Felt (II) at Antiguo Cuscatlan, Nueva San Salvador and San Salvador." These are preferred over ShakeMap MMI which are usually automatic and unreviewed.

Also, some articles source their earthquake parameters from the ISC, which may differ from what the USGS says. For example, the ISC list the 2012 Northern Italy earthquake as M6.1 at 10km depth, whereas the USGS says 6.0 at 6.3km depth. You can see this under the Technical tab. Both values are fine, and a range can be included, but the rest of the article must follow through.

Cheers. Dora the Axe-plorer (explore) 06:41, 2 July 2026 (UTC)
