Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:CLOWD9

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:CLOWD9, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Thank you for declaring your conflict of interest. If you own shares or have any other form of financial interest, you must keep the "paid" declaration, if not, you can change it back to COI. You cannot write what you like, you must follow the guidance below:
- you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation or company, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, logs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the company or organisation claims or interviewing its management. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls.
- Some text had no sources. The sources you did give were interviews with the company, press releases, YouTube and AWS, none are acceptable as independent third-party sources.
- The notability guidelines for organisations and companies have been updated. The primary criteria have five components that must be evaluated separately and independently to determine if it is met:
- significant coverage in
- independent,
- multiple,
- reliable,
- secondary sources.
- Note that an individual source must meet all four criteria to be counted towards notability. It's all about what the company sells, little about the company itself other than locations. To show notability you need hard verifiable facts such as the number of employees, management structure, turnover or profits.
- You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
- Basically company spam dedicated to... first cloud-native issuer processor... offers... global by design, allowing the platform to scale at speed, in new markets... demonstrating a firm commitment to driving positive change... achieving 15% cost savings while simultaneously increasing load capacity and resilience.
- There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
- You had a couple of pointless links.
- You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.
- I didn't check.
Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 10:31, 12 April 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you Jimfbleak, for the very comprehensive feedback, and guide. I will go through in more detail and redraft to ensure all fits the guidelines. I do own shares in the business, so understand the 'paid' reference still stands, although it is not strictly true, as these were shares I earned 5 years ago when I was full time and co-founded the business. I will read the information you outlined. Thank you again. Cosmospens (talk) 11:07, 12 April 2026 (UTC)

- Hi Dan, thanks for your review. I am a little confused, as the latest draft is similar to the previous, but not exact, and contains more detailed revisions to the references. The reason for the new draft is the previous one was deleted, which is why I created this new one. How can I go back to the previous version you mention, when it is deleted? Any help would be appreciated. Also, give my best to Western Australia. My first car in 1989, was a Holden Kingswood HX76 with WA number plates. Wikipedia articles must be written neutrally in a formal, impersonal, and dispassionate way. They should not read like a blog post, advertisement, or fan page. Rewrite the draft to remove:
- promotional language: see Words to watch;
- personal commentary: opinions or direct addresses to the reader;
- informal language.
Instead, only summarize in your own words a range of independent, reliable, published sources that discuss the subject.
If you have a conflict of interest (e.g. you are the subject, an employee, or a relative) or are being paid to edit, you must disclose this to comply with Wikipedia's Terms of Use.- provide significant coverage: discuss the subject in detail, excluding routine coverage like product launches, staff appointments, or financial reports and listings in databases or listicles;
- are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
- are independent: not connected to the subject, such as press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.
