Welcome

Hello, Cronacrab! Welcome to Wikipedia! It appears that you are here to participate in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students. Go through our online training for students

If you need help, check out Wikipedia's page for questions. You can also ask me by visiting my user talk page and leaving a message, or you can ask your question on this page by editing it and placing {{Help me}} before your question. Please make sure that you sign your messages on discussion pages, which is done by entering four tildes (~~~~) at the very end of it; this will automatically insert your username and the date. I also highly recommend that you review the advice for students page.

Before you create an article, make sure that you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one, please tell your instructor about creating one. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know that the article is a subject of an educational assignment as well as aid your communication with them.

PRODs

When you PROD articles on Olympic sportspeople, it would be helpful if you could include "fails WP:NOLY" in the reason for proposed deletion. Thanks, Ingratis (talk) 06:48, 3 November 2025 (UTC)

Thank you for the heads up. I'll make sure to do that going forward. Cronacrab (talk) 19:42, 3 November 2025 (UTC)
Thanks - it makes it easier to spot them. Best wishes, Ingratis (talk) 09:00, 4 November 2025 (UTC)

Edit filter false positive

I made the edit on your behalf and fixed the edit filter. Cheers, OhNoitsJamie Talk 16:14, 28 January 2026 (UTC)

Preview

Hi there, please get in the habit of always using Preview, especially when changing citations, as at Lonnie Mack. Wikipedia formatting is notoriously fussy and easily damaged. I've fixed the issues there - perhaps take a look when you have a chance, to make sure I didn't accidentally undo anything you intended. Thanks, Jessicapierce (talk) 01:17, 13 February 2026 (UTC)

Thank you for cleaning up after me. I really should've read up on nested footnotes instead of just guessing! But now I have, so if I try attempting them again, I'll get it right! Cronacrab (talk) 20:19, 13 February 2026 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Charles Manson, a link pointing to the disambiguation page ABC News was added. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
