Cyclone Fytia

Sorry but you cannot use this reference to say anything about the effects of Cyclone Fytia, it is not even mentioned. The floods in Mozambique are happening since October and are cumulative, the deathx are associated with multiple heavy rain episodes prior to the cyclone. Therefore, you cannot claim that the 146 deaths are indirectly related to Fytia which affected just the northern coast lately. Please, find a reference that explicitly mention any effects by the cyclone before editing any further the draft on tht subject.

Drafts

Please note that drafts such as Draft:Cyclone Gezani are not allowed to be filed in categories next to finished articles in mainspace, per WP:DRAFTNOCAT. The page must stay out of any categories while it's in draft, and may be added to categories only if and when it gets accepted and moved into mainspace by an WP:AFC reviewer.

As I've had to remove the page from categories three times in two days, do not readd it to categories again, because it isn't allowed to be in categories. Note also that there can be consequences for disruption if you continue to disobey this rule, such as the immediate lockdown of the page so that you can no longer edit it at all, and/or the temporary or permanent removal of your editing privileges. Thanks. Bearcat (talk) 16:46, 12 February 2026 (UTC)

@Bearcat I understand. I will no longer make the mistake of adding categories to drafts. I will remove those categories entirely and add them in after acception. (On the Cyclone Gezani draft) CycloneTheta (talk) 22:05, 12 February 2026 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Cyclone Gezani, a link pointing to the disambiguation page Displaced was added. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:54, 17 February 2026 (UTC)

Edit to Cyclone Gezani

Information icon Hi CycloneTheta! I noticed that you recently made an edit at Cyclone Gezani and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, "minor edit" refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typos or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Revision link Mitchsavl (talk) 09:13, 18 February 2026 (UTC)

Be sure to add sourcing

Regarding this edit, are you sure the NHC was warning that year? The Eastern Pacific Hurricane Center was issuing advisories until 1988. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 06:07, 25 February 2026 (UTC)
