Your submission at Articles for creation: Hubert Kretzchmar (May 5)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Umakant Bhalerao was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Multiple drafts

Please don't create multiple copies of your drafts, like you did with Draft:Hubert Kretzchmar / Draft:Hubert Kretzschmar. This serves no useful purpose, and causes all sorts of problems. Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 08:06, 5 May 2024 (UTC)

Hello. I misspelled this artist’s name by leaving out an “S”. I would like some help please. Demsuz (talk) 12:42, 5 May 2024 (UTC)
Hello. This article was declined after a few edits. I was researching this artist and had a lot to learn. Can it be looked at now that I finished? This artist is mentioned in many other prominent entries on this sire. Thank you.

Hello. Since declined I have followed directions to show the artist is renowned —from being shown in 2 major museums, solo shows, and group shows— to designing over 150 album covers (Discogs shows 313 allow cover credits) to being part of iconic imagery related to The Rolling Stones and Kraftwerk. Both bands are still touring and reissuing their albums with Kretzschmar’s involvement. The Rolling Stones featured his artwork in their touring art exhibition Exhibitionism. Posting to discussion pages

Hi, when you posted to User talk:HouseBlaster you reverted that user's talk page back to a much earlier state, removing multiple threads and posts by other users, and restoring text that had been archived. Please be more careful; if you want to refer back to a thread that has been archived you should start a new discussion on the talk page and include a link to the old thread in the talk page archives.

Secondly, when you posted to Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/Help desk in response to an editor who had replied to your thread, you placed your reply in a different discussion thread. Again, be careful and check that your post doesn't end up in the wrong section. Regards, --bonadea contributions talk 19:28, 30 September 2024 (UTC)

I took the tabloid fodder and you put it back in. You didn’t discuss on the Talk Page. Where can I get help? Demsuz (talk) 01:25, 19 October 2024 (UTC)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by JFHJr was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people).  The comment the reviewer left was:
The only change since the last submission was the addition of a single reference citing this subject in passing mention, but not in an in-depth way that satisfies WP:GNG. JFHJr () 22:59, 11 February 2025 (UTC)

See also: Template:Cite web for basic citation markup for websites. The bare reference markup (ref plus URL) you used works, but displays no helpful information. Using templates will help organize and display the reference in full. Cheers! JFHJr () 23:06, 11 February 2025 (UTC)
