Your submission at Articles for creation: Edrissa Mass Jobe (May 14)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Timtrent were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
The comment the reviewer left was:
The referencing is... odd. They all need checking, please. Many of the references are regurgitated press releases and PR material. These must be replaced or removed, please. They provide an aura of faux notability which is not required and adds no value. Indeed it diminishes Wikipedia's value. At least one is no longer current. The one stated to be in Polish is in English, but it's a press release anyway For a living person we have a high standard of referencing. Every substantive fact you assert, especially one that is susceptible to potential challenge, requires a citation with a reference that is about them, and is independent of them, in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS, and is significant coverage. Please also see WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources and WP:SELFPUB which has clear limitations on self published sources. Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact cited, that meet these tough criteria is likely to make this draft a clear acceptance (0.9 probability). Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the person is not suitable for inclusion, certainly today.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Reporting

I observed your post to Harrison; please see WP:REPORTPAID for instructions on how you can report off-wiki evidence of undisclosed paid editing. 331dot (talk) 20:30, 27 February 2025 (UTC)

Short descriptions

Thank you for adding Short descriptions to articles.
However, many of these descriptions have started with a lower case letter and some have been too long – the current guidelines at WP:SDSHORT advise a limit of around 40 characters.
The full guidelines are at WP:SDCONTENTGhostInTheMachine talk to me 14:51, 18 November 2025 (UTC)

Was going to come here about your short description changes, but @GhostInTheMachine beat me to it. Please be more careful to avoid edits like you made here. Thanks. Longhornsg (talk) 22:36, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
Noted, thank you. Deriannt (talk) 09:30, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
You must stop just copying one of the categories into the Short description. While the categories may be valid inspiration for a suitable Short description, they are never valid without adjustment — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 18:09, 19 November 2025 (UTC)

Can you expand on your reasons for draftifying Allatra?

Hi @Deriannt, I noticed you recently draftified Draft:Allatra after tagging the article with a number of issues, including UPE.

I've not looked into this article sufficiently to know whether the tags are justified, but could you help by providing an explanation for your taging choices, as per WP:TAGGING? You might find the policy advice helpful in this case:

> Don't perform "drive-by" tagging.Tags must be accompanied by either a comment on the article's talk page explaining the problem and beginning a discussion on how to fix it or, for simpler and more obvious problems, a remark using the reason parameter (available in all templates, regardless of whether it appears in the documentation) as shown below. At the very least, tagging editors must be willing to follow through with substantive discussion. WP:CTAGS Salimfadhley (talk) 17:34, 19 November 2025 (UTC)

Thank you for asking. I tagged based on off-wiki evidences. Deriannt (talk) 18:21, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
@Salimfadhley this from EU Reporter is an interesting one I found. Deriannt (talk) 19:38, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
"EU Reporter" is a pay-to-play press outlet associated with Kremlin interests. Here is reliable reporting to that effect. Noospherix (talk) 20:22, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
Okay, so are you implying that AllatRa is working on behalf of the Kremlin? Deriannt (talk) 20:25, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
I meant specifically what I said: that "EU Reporter" is a pay-to-play outlet that has been in the past associated with Kremlin interests. Noospherix (talk) 20:26, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
Sorry, but this doesn’t invalidate the article on Allatra — it would amount to original research. Deriannt (talk) 20:28, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
That "EU Reporter" story is the equivalent of a paid press release. It is not 'original research.' Noospherix (talk) 20:30, 19 November 2025 (UTC)

Question re Short description templates

In passing ... Why do you start by adding a blank short description template? Is this due to the specific app or editor that you use? — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 15:10, 21 November 2025 (UTC)

Can you please provide a diff? Thanks. Deriannt (talk) 15:17, 23 November 2025 (UTC)
