Hi Handsome Ellis, please don't remove citations just because the link doesn't work; see WP:Link rot for further guidance. I think your removal of the "model" claim was fine, but the removal of citations wasn't warranted.

I noticed you're removing "model" from many actors' bios; as long as this is based on sourcing and Wikipedia policies/guidelines, I think this is fine—but again, it doesn't necessarily mean that citations should be removed. Also, if you remove the occupation from the lead, please also remove it from the {{Infobox person}} templare. You may also be interested in reading MOS:BIOFIRSTSENTENCE and MOS:ROLEBIO.

How is it "disruptive editing" when I explained my rationale? Front-facing photos are preferred for lead images e.g. Sarah Pidgeon's page. You should talk to me properly instead of doing this. Both the previous lead image and mine are screenshots from the exact same video. I simply chose the biggest possible size for my screenshot and sharpened it with a graphics software, which is not forbidden. Calling it disruptive is a stretch and insult. WP:HIIQ is not a WP:P&G. Also, your explanation for why this does not fall under MOS:AIUPSCALE is unconvincing, the technical details do not support your conclusion. Your statement, "I simply chose the biggest possible size for my screenshot", further highlights the inconsistency in your explanation. Are you serious right now? I chose the biggest possible size as in I opened the video in 4K quality and screencapped it on my Mac desktop, slightly increased the size, and sharpened it on Photoshop. I can screen-record the whole process for you. So much hostility over nothing is wild. Show me WHERE in my explanation above I gave "inconsistent" details. Photoshop predates generative AI by decades. I can even show you what SynthID says. I have zero history of actual disruptive or bad-faith editing and I even replaced Chanty's actually AI-enhanced photo with a non-AI one. The issue is not whether Photoshop predates generative AI, whether SynthID detects a Google AI watermark, or whether you have previously edited in good faith. Photoshop now includes generative AI features, and a negative SynthID result does not establish that an image was not enlarged, sharpened, or otherwise processed. I am using a 5K display, and opening the video in 4K does not explain how an cropped image could have been "slightly increased in size" magically without upscaling. A screen recording is unnecessary, as your own description already confirms that the image was enlarged and sharpened which falls under MOS:AIUPSCALE. Reframing the issue as hostility or relying on unrelated points about your editing history does not address the technical concern. There you go. Not an exact match but it's all so easy to do in just a few minutes. NON-AI slight size increase, a brightening layer, a bit of blur, and sharpening. No AI upscaling in sight.

I am genuinely baffled by your behaviour right now. The implication that making a pic bigger must be AI is... wow. That has been achievable through even rudimentary photo editing apps like PicsArt over a decade ago. Handsome Ellis (talk) 19:02, 25 July 2026 (UTC)

I have repeatedly said YES, I did sharpen it and that's not forbidden. No step in my process is AI. This is very, very basic photo adjustment that even Getty Images and other professional photographers do. I really hope you're either a kid who has never known a world without gen AI or like a really old Gen X/Boomer unfamiliar with graphics software because saying that sharpening = "confirmed AI upscaling" is one of the most baffling claims I've heard in a while, as a graphic design student. Please review WP:CIVIL and WP:NPA. Given the direction the discussion has taken and the personal remarks that have been introduced, I do not see a productive basis for continuing it. For clarity, this remains a WP:BRD content discussion, and original images are available that meet MOS:IMAGELEAD. Saying that your claims are baffling does not violate WP:CIVIL. Your insistence that I am lying and refusal to take accountability even after I showed proof that my image was not AI-upscaled is the reason that this conversation is "not productive."
