Information icon Hello, I'm Rosaece. I noticed that you recently removed content from Charli XCX without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. In one of your edit summaries, you said that the sources "do not show any information". However, the sources quote the content you removed verbatim. Rosaecetalkcontribs 11:56, 14 February 2026 (UTC)

National varieties of English

Information icon Hello. In a recent edit to the page Globalization, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the first author of the article used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. Cordless Larry (talk) 18:09, 23 February 2026 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Capital punishment by country, a link pointing to the disambiguation page Capital punishment in Georgia was added. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Hello, I'm Moxy. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. icon Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Dunam, you may be blocked from editing. User3749 (talk) 07:17, 7 March 2026 (UTC)

Spamming me with your AI will get you blocked. Hehdbf (talk) 07:18, 7 March 2026 (UTC)
This isn't AI generated content, it is a prewritten message. Can I ask that you please stop reintroducing that controversial statement in the article Sharia in Nigeria, calling it "illegal" because as you have been reminded by multiple editors then, the Supreme Court of Nigeria has not issued a ruling on this matter, so calling it "illegal" violates WP:NPOV. Please also do not call those edits "vandalism" - vandalism only refers to disruptive edits done intentionally; please assume good faith towards other editors. User3749 (talk) 07:22, 7 March 2026 (UTC)
One person, a court doesn't need to state what a constitution already does, and stop edit-warring and then vandalising my talk page. Hehdbf (talk) 07:23, 7 March 2026 (UTC)
If you would like to discuss this further, please take it to the talk page of that article. But again, please WP:AGF and don't use the word vandalism without reason. For now I will just stop writing here, discussion about those content issues belongs on that article's talk page. User3749 (talk) 07:33, 7 March 2026 (UTC)

Blocked as a sockpuppet

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:Johnsmith212254 per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Johnsmith212254. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you believe that there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Vanamonde93 (talk) 03:38, 16 March 2026 (UTC)

This user is asking that their block be reviewed:

Hehdbf (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log) • SI)

Request reason:

I would like to appeal this block.

I think the account Johnsmith212254 may have been mine several years ago, although I do not clearly remember it since it was over three years ago. It seems to match my behaviour when I was younger and less considerate of resolving disputes in a constructive and orderly way. Though that account was blocked in the past, I was not attempting to evade that block intentionally.

Many of my recent edits have been routine maintenance work such as grammar corrections, copy-editing, and reference updates. My intention has been to contribute constructively to the encyclopaedia. For example, I have began to avoid editing articles for which I have previously been involved in disputes (such as Capital punishment by country), which I have done to avoid further conflict.

I understand the concerns raised about ENGVAR, measurement conversions, and date formatting. I will follow the Manual of Style guidelines going forward and will avoid changing English varieties, date formats, or measurement conventions in ways that conflict with those guidelines.

I would appreciate reconsideration of the block on that basis.

Notes:

  • In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
  • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:
