Your submission at Articles for creation: Georgy Chervinsky (January 28)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by RangersRus was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.

Georgy Chervinsky moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Georgy Chervinsky (2). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability, you may have a possible Conflict of Interest and it is a copypaste of the declined draft Draft:Georgy Chervinsky in violation of WP:COPYWITHIN, and its formatting is a bit of a mess with two separate references sections.

Please edit the previously existing draft, and when you believe it is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page. bonadea contributions talk 14:24, 3 February 2026 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Pavel Kizhuk (February 3)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by ChrysGalley were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject.
The comment the reviewer left was:
There are quite a few things that need changing here. Here are some to start with, but there are other issues.

1) Is the subject really notable? See WP:NACTOR and WP:BASIC. 2) If so then we need reliable sources for every point that can be questioned. 3) In particular Facebook and IMDb can't be used, see WP:RSP

4) This is an encyclopedia, so a crisp summary of someone's life and career. At the moment the wording isn't very encyclopedic.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.

Hi! Thanks for checking it out. I'm new here, but I figured it out quickly. I've seen a lot of articles with both YouTube links and published articles. Regarding importance, this man definitely developed Greek culture in Russia, which is no easy feat, and it actually yielded fruit, an award from the president. I don't understand your question about significance.Sorry. Jamescopperfieldd (talk) 19:46, 3 February 2026 (UTC)

Pavel Kizhuk moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Pavel Kizhuk. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it has too many problems of language or grammar. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Pavel Kizhuk (February 27)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Athanelar was:
This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Draft is massively overcited with references that don't help to establish notability (like simple cast credit references on IMDB). Please review WP:42 for what we're looking for in a source; for instance, the first source in his 'Career' section is a link to a bio about him on Plex, which is not a reliable source as it is likely user-generated.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.
Athanelar (talk) 14:12, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
Hey!
Thank you for your consideration of my request. The sources are independent and much more credible than some magazines. Are you looking for an article on the White House website? I believe there's a personal grudge against you, nothing more. There are more than enough sources of varying significance. I look forward to your comment, and thank you again.
With regads, Jamescopperfieldd (talk) 15:41, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
It's a vicious circle: one claims the biography is similar to the IMDB biography, another claims IMDB is a poor source, even though it's a global database. How can it be a weak source? This is all based on personal beliefs, which is unacceptable for an encyclopedia of this caliber.
With regads, Jamescopperfieldd (talk) 15:55, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
It is not at all based on personal beliefs, Wikipedia does not consider IMDB to be a reliable source because its content is user-generated. Athanelar (talk) 17:02, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
But brother, imdb is not the only source, there are plenty of others. I would understand you if there was only one source, imdb, right? If you can, please tell me what source would be suitable for an artist of this level?
I found an interview in a magazine; he's listed in international databases, meaning he's recognized. He's listed as an artist at the Greek Cultural Center and is included in a Russian cyclopedia. He's from a Belarusian village, so these sources are sufficient to confirm his achievements.Sorry to bother you, but I am writing the truth.
With regads, Jamescopperfieldd (talk) 17:19, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
As I said in my decline notice, please review WP:42 for details on what makes a good source for notability. Athanelar (talk) 17:37, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
This article has already been discussed on a similar topic, and it's been answered. I think you're blind. I need to ask someone with more sight for help. There's an independent source from the Greek Cultural Center and the official Kremlin website. Everything else is just a bonus.
I'm sorry, but you're wrong.

You are welcome to resubmit it and wait for somebody else to review it if you disagree with my review. Athanelar (talk) 18:18, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
You have every right to do so, and thank you again for reading the article. I'll try to find more reliable sources.

Please rewrite using encyclopedia prose. Bad example: "He grew up in a preschool orphanage in Leningrad — and really wanted to get an education not in vocational school — because all the children orphanage from the vocational school went to prison." Then resubmit. :)
