The World Destubathon
You are invited to participate in The World Destubathon. It's currently planned for June 16-July 13, partly due to me having hayfever during that period and not wanting to run it throughout July or August in the hotter summer and will be run then unless multiple editors object. There is currently $3338 going into it, with $500 the top prize. As 250 countries and entities is too much to patrol, entries will be by user, but there is $500 going into prizes for editors covering the most countries. Sign up if interested! ♦ Dr. Blofeld

DYK for Adam Bernero
On 25 April 2026, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Adam Bernero, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Adam Bernero signed his first contract with a Major League Baseball team on a Denny's napkin? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Adam Bernero. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Adam Bernero), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.

Thank you + question
First of all, thank you for the copyedits in the Greek constitutional amendment of 1986 article. They are great! I addressed one of the tags you placed. However, the sentence having three tags is a bit more of a challenge because the source does not provide more info. Greece after Pasok's victor: Papandreou tried to present this as a spontaneous action, and indeed publicly claimed that the nomination had been made without Sartzetakis's knowledge. It has been reported, however, that not only did Sartzetakis know in advance but that Pasok had previously offered the post to two other senior judicial figures who had refused. How do you propose to rewrite this so that these tags can be addressed? Note that I am not aware any other source that claims this as they tend to focus on other aspects of the period. Would the following be an improvement:
- Scholar McDonald reported that Papandreou claimed that the choice was done without Sartzetakis's knowledge to present his decision as spontaneous, however, Sartzetakis knew in advance in addition to the the two senior judicial figures (not mentioned) who had refused the nomination.A.Cython(talk) 00:15, 28 April 2026 (UTC)
- @A.Cython: Yes, this is much clearer. Making sure you add McDonald's full name, and what he's a scholar of (i.e. Greek constitutional scholar Robert McDonald?). Also remove the "the the" there and I think you're okay removing the "(not mentioned)." Thanks for your work and I am rooting for the eventual GA! Jordano53 04:16, 28 April 2026 (UTC)
