Your submission at Articles for creation: Pathways Financial Credit Union (July 16)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by AngusWOOF was:
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Welcome!

Hello, KimAtPathways, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, which will be reviewed by other editors. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Thank you for the welcome and for the guidance! I appreciate it. I’ve disclosed my conflict of interest on the draft’s talk page and will continue to follow Wikipedia’s COI and paid-contribution policies. I’m approaching edits carefully and relying on independent, reliably sourced information. Please let me know if there is anything further you recommend. Your submission at Articles for creation: Pathways Financial Credit Union (December 9)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by LuniZunie were:
This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are:
Make sure you add references that meet all four of these criteria before resubmitting. Learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Your draft shows signs of having been generated by a large language model, such as ChatGPT. Wikipedia guidelines prohibit the use of LLMs to write articles from scratch. In addition, LLM-generated articles usually have multiple quality issues, to include:
Please address these issues. The best way is usually to read reliable sources and summarize them, instead of using a large language model. See our help page on large language models.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Thank you for reviewing the draft. After the decline, I went through the article line by line and manually rewrote the lead and all major sections to address the concerns raised about tone and AI-generated language. No automated or AI tools were used in the revision.
Every statement is now directly supported by independent, reliable sources, including reporting from Columbus Business First, American Banker, Forbes, PYMNTS, Oracle, CUInsight, CUToday, Tyfone, The Business Journal Daily, News Channel Nebraska, The Columbus Messenger and WBNS 10TV. These sources provide the depth of independent coverage required under WP:ORG and WP:CORPDEPTH.
I also want to note that I have a conflict of interest as an employee of the organization, and I am doing my best to follow COI best practices by keeping all contributions neutral, factual and fully verifiable. If anything in the draft still needs adjustment, I’m very open to further guidance.
Thanks again for your time and review.

Yet you used AI in your response? LuniZunie(talk) 19:46, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
My computer has Grammarly installed and it is AI powered to check the content I write. It also rewrites sentences that do not make sense or could be worded more professionally. As the sole marketing and communications person for a $750M+ credit union, it is important that every word I say is carefully checked for tone, grammar, and spelling. I do not have a team of professionals to double check my work so I must rely on resources like Grammarly to proofread my work. If Grammarly is against Wikipedia's policies I can remove the extension from my browser until this project is complete. Please advise how to proceed. KimAtPathways (talk) 20:09, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
@KimAtPathways The issue is, for one, your header is messed up. We do not use headers in comments such as you did here:
== Update following AfC feedback ==
This is often a hallmark of AI written comments as the LLMs do not understand how to use headers. On top of that, LLMs often cite specific guidelines without adding a Wikipedia:Wikilink, such as you did above. I strongly recommend you look at Wikipedia:Signs of AI writing, and see why the writing in your draft is so suspicious.
If this is somehow Grammarly doing this, I recommend you uninstall it. However, I doubt that it is Grammarly that is the problem here.
Thanks, LuniZunie(talk) 20:21, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
I can understand your point of view. I do not write for Wikipedia and have never been trained on source code. I absolutely rely on the internet to analyze what I'm doing wrong and how I can better fit your standards specifically when it comes to presenting it properly with the correct source code. This has been a project I have been working to complete for over a year and a half without success. The last time, one of your editors reached out directly to me and said drafts will not be approved unless I pay someone from Wikipedia to write it. They quoted me more than $10,000 to do so. Is that correct? ~2025-39403-20 (talk) 20:29, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
@KimAtPathways Please check your email when you have a chance, thanks. LuniZunie(talk) 20:31, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
@KimAtPathways I also do find your diff summary here alarming. It also seems AI generated, can you please tell me what AFC guidelines you are referring to? LuniZunie(talk) 20:24, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
I am referring to your articles for creation page. This is what I used as a resource to find out why reviewers might be declining my post. Is this still the correct information or should I be looking at different criteria? I'm looking forward to your feedback on the draft. Thank you for your help with this. ~2025-39979-71 (talk) 13:49, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
@~2025-39979-71 Okay, I just wanted to make sure. I would suggest you look at Wikipedia:Scam warning based on your previous message. LuniZunie(talk) 14:04, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
Thanks for the clarification about the Scam warning. I didn't think of that as being a possibility. I did have a few questions. I do have a question about the media concerns you mentioned. The draft cites multiple independent news from Columbus Business First, American Banker, Forbes, PYMNTS, and others. These appeared to meet the requirements for reliable, secondary, independent coverage, so I’m not sure which specific references are still considered insufficient. Could you point to the specific sources or sections that you feel aren’t meeting the depth requirement? That would help me make the right adjustments as I continue to work through the copy today. Thank you! KimAtPathways (talk) 16:20, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
@KimAtPathways The issue is mostly with Newswire. While it is not considered unreliable, it is also not the best. However, the decline issue was not actually for sources; it was for Wikipedia:CORP because the sources don't show why this company is notable. However, I think that that decline reason is very borderline and would depend on the reviewer. Cheers, LuniZunie(talk) 16:55, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
