Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 15:04, 2 November 2022 (UTC)

Ronnie Lahiri moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Ronnie Lahiri, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your submission at Articles for creation: Ronnie Lahiri (December 4)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Robert McClenon were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources.
The comment the reviewer left was:
This page has been moved back from article space to draft space. Please read the comments by the draftifying reviewer and address them. Do not resubmit this draft without addressing the comments of the previous reviewer. If you do not understand why this article was sent back to draft space, please ask the reviewer rather than simply resubmitting.

You may ask for advice on how to improve this draft at the Teahouse or on the talk pages of any of the reviewers. (The declining reviewers may advise you to ask for advice at the Teahouse.)

If this draft is resubmitted without any improvement or with very little improvement, it will probably be rejected.

This draft, as written, does not appear to indicate that one of the biographical notability criteria is satisfied. If one of the criteria is satisfied, please revise this draft appropriately, with a reliable source, if necessary stating on the talk page or in AFC comments which criterion is met, and resubmit. It is the responsibility of the submitter to show that a subject satisfies a notability criterion.

You may ask for advice about the biographical notability criteria at the Teahouse.

In particular, see and refer to WP:NCREATIVE for notability, which is the guideline that the subject should be evaluated against.

This draft has been reference-bombed. The reviewer has not checked all of the references and should not be required and is not required to check all of the references. If the author wishes to have some of the references evaluated in review of this draft, please specify, in AFC comments, which of the references are key. Please specify not less than three nor more than five. This draft will not be reviewed further until the author identifies the key references.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

VERY URGENT: Please immediately update emergency@wikimedia.org about this message

To admins Bishonen and Cullen328 Please update emergency@wikimedia.org that a Hindu Raksha Dal volunteer has conveyed me that an unsigned reply dated 14.12.2022 has been received from Wikimedia Foundation legal email ID addressed to JP Sinha of SJM for my case. Which reply although is not presently fully in my actual knowledge, however I can simply confirm to have authorised the NGO helpline persons mentioned therein to complain to Fondation on my behalf so as to maintain my privacy outside India. Lord Alan B'stard (talk) 08:43, 15 December 2022 (UTC)

Added: I only imperfectly understand your note above, and would hate to be asked to explain it to Emergency. If you want to be able to communicate directly with Emergency yourself, while remaining anonymous, I'm pretty sure you can open a Wikipedia e-mail account even though you're blocked. Go to your preferences –> User profile —> E-mail options. Then they'll be able to write to you, and you will be able to use the "Message the emergency team" link at WP:EMERGENCY. Bishonen | tålk 10:41, 15 December 2022 (UTC).
I consider myself now informed about this matter and will reply to any questions from the WMF. Cullen328 (talk) 16:03, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
