Question
Why were my edits undone? MaxHogan25 (talk) 15:39, 19 December 2025 (UTC)
Can you make this a real Wikipedia page?

Thanks for the tip about MOS:OVERLINK
Thanks for leaving the link to MOS:OVERLINK when you reverted my change to the Master Chef page. I had added the link thinking about it from a usability point-of-view so that someone could easily click on the judge's name if they were in the later seasons. It just seemed weird to see it linked earlier on the page, but not later. And I still do think that from a usability viewpoint, the link would be better so that a visitor doesn't have to scroll back up to earlier in the table when the judge's name is linked.
However, I do understand the need for the MOS and appreciate that. In all these years of editing I'd not run into the "OVERLINK" part of the MOS (or if I had, I don't remember it), so I appreciated the pointer. Thanks! - Dyork (talk) 16:47, 23 December 2025 (UTC)

Red Panda performance
Hi, I don't know if this is an issue but someone has provided a YouTube video of the cut performance yet the sentence that it belongs to mentions Sky Go Catch Up? MSalmon (talk) 14:33, 6 January 2026 (UTC)
- Because it's a link to a Youtube video that shows the performance as seen on Sky Go Catch Up, obviously. ~2026-42293-3 (talk) 14:12, 26 January 2026 (UTC)

Taking credit
You undid the updates I made to the Masked Singer Season 14 Article for Clueless Night, and then added them back in yourself and took credit for the edits I made. You stole the credit for My Update. PartyD0ct0r32 (talk) 14:30, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
- I would suggest you actually WP:CITE your source(s), rather than adding unsourced information into the article(s) next time. It is more beneficial if you include your source(s) to back your claim(s) up, rather than adding unsourced information. Thank you. Magitroopa (talk) 16:50, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
- I used the FoxFlash photos to identify which masks were featured in the third episode. Doesn't that count? PartyD0ct0r32 (talk) 18:00, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
- See your edits versus my edit- whether that's what you used for sourcing is not what I mean, I moreso mean in regards to actually adding the source in along with your edit(s). Even if you just included a link like: '<ref>https://www.foxflash.com/shows/the-masked-singer/photos/?type=episodic&season=s14&episode=1404</ref>', that would be more helpful than just adding in the information entirely unsourced, so at least others can know where you obtained the information as well.
- I'm not trying to be mean here or 'steal credit' or anything like that, just please remember to cite your source(s) in the future, it would be very helpful to even just include the link so myself (and others) can see where you found the information and can verify it as well. Thanks. Magitroopa (talk) 18:34, 18 January 2026 (UTC)

Hell's Kitchen infobox
I'm just trying to figure out what your note about my recent edit means. The infobox template doesn't tell me anything. As for the information I changed, the theme song changes for season 17, not 18. All-Stars did not use "Fire". Roger Craig Smith only narrated a couple seasons, with Jason Thompson handling the rest of them. Starbeam2 (talk) 18:38, 23 January 2026 (UTC)
- All those infobox parameters such as 'presenter', 'starring', 'judges', 'voices', 'announcer', or in this case, 'narrator'/'narrated', should not have anything such as years or seasons included in the infobox, only in whatever prose text. In this case, mentioning the years or seasons whoever has narrated the show would be fine to mention at Hell's Kitchen (American TV series)#Cast, if not already mentioned there.
- It was previously mentioned in the template's parameter table, but as it now states within the bullets above the parameter table, "Do not add additional text, such as years, seasons, or individual episodes, that explains when a person was part of the show". Hope this clears it up. Magitroopa (talk) 18:47, 23 January 2026 (UTC)
Regarding the changes I made today, I can add them to the other tables if it will make the edits more consistent. Starbeam2 (talk) 21:54, 30 January 2026 (UTC)

Updating deceased contestants in Hell's Kitchen seasonal pages
Why did you delete the † sign I added to Petrozza in season 4? This sign is used in season 2 multiple deceased contestants and in season 3 Aaron. ~2026-10563-85 (talk) 11:27, 19 February 2026 (UTC)
- The ones in those articles have now been removed as well. As I previously stated, WP:NOTAMEMORIAL is the reasoning. We are not going to go around every single article adding a little symbol to memorialize every single person who has died, otherwise you'll just end up seeing that symbol next to every single name however many years from now. This is not the place to add a 'tribute' to them just because they have passed away. Aside from that, the claim(s) that they have died is unsourced anyways.
- Now please stop adding these in- they will continue to be reverted/removed, and if you continue adding them in anyways, it will likely need to be reported. If you really feel the need to memorialize them, please do so elsewhere, but Wikipedia is not the place for this. Thank you. Magitroopa (talk) 15:16, 19 February 2026 (UTC)
- Understandable, as long as the rest are removed I'm fine with that ~2026-10563-85 (talk) 22:32, 19 February 2026 (UTC)
