Your submission at Articles for creation: Adeola Akinremi (July 4)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Idoghor Melody were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Hi Melody,
Thanks for your review. This article follows the requirement of independent sources and there's nothing that suggests an advertisement, since it is not. Please see similar articles Bob Woodward, Adeola Fayehun and Ndidi Okonkwo Nwuneli And while I do not agree with your review, because of its biased elements, I'll endeavor to make edits and republish for another review without a biased judgment. This subject has made significant achievements much more than what we see on many Wikipedia profile. Wikipedia is encouraging the Nigerian community to have more space on wiki but this unnecessary rejection is discouraging for content creators who wants to help to achieve that goal. Hi Mindfield1979, I'm not sure why you restored an old draft version of Adeola Akinremi, but please do not do that again. You removed quite a number of edits that had been made by various people in the meantime in order to improve the article and make it more neutral and encyclopedic. Thanks, --bonadea contributions talk 16:12, 20 March 2025 (UTC)

@Bonadea, I am the original editor who worked on the article. It contains some misrepresented facts, which I am trying to change due to my knowledge of the individual. I figured that they were in the history and I had to revised the. Can you please restored back. Mindfield1979 (talk) 16:16, 20 March 2025 (UTC)
No problem, I restored it already so you don't need to worry about it. If there are claims in the article that have no source, or that go against what the sources say, you can edit the article to remove those claims. You do not (and should not) revert the entire thing to an earlier version. --bonadea contributions talk 16:17, 20 March 2025 (UTC)
@Bonadea, can you remove the wrong date of birth from history? That was on me because I wrongly inserted it and I have tried to change that but I noticed Google keeps crawling it because the history version had it and it is indexed on wikipedia page. Mindfield1979 (talk) 16:22, 20 March 2025 (UTC)
@Bonadea, this embarrasing situation is what I am trying to avoid. https://www.thedrum.com/news/2015/11/26/screenwriter-fails-bid-have-wikipedia-delete-her-age Mindfield1979 (talk) 16:23, 20 March 2025 (UTC)
I understand how you feel about this, but it really isn't something that can be fixed at Wikipedia's end. As I said on the article talk page, this is 100% on Google (not on you at all!) and it is only Google that can address it. There is no knowing exactly where Google's "knowledge panels" come from, but it's definitely not only from Wikipedia. Sadly, they are probably generated by an AI, since Google doesn't scruple to provide AI generated lies as answers to questions! Write to Google. Only they can fix this, and I hope they will. (I once wrote to them about a knowledge panel about a person with an unusual but not unique name, where some biographical information was about one person, and some info as well as the image was of someone else – there wasn't a Wikipedia article about either person. If I remember correctly, the knowledge panel said that the person was born in the 1950s and had children born in the 1960s. Anyway, the mix-up was fixed pretty quickly when I sent feedback about it to Google.) --bonadea contributions talk 12:51, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
