Hi, referring to this edit, please always fill in the citation template with as many information as possible. Do not just leave a bare url in the cite template. In the case of using the NGDC ref, please look at other relevant articles to guide you in filling the cite parameters. Proper citations are mandatory per editing policy. Hey, this edit to Grzegorz Braun seemed like it violated WP:UNDUE and WP:BLP (due to the lack of source), so I reverted it out of an abundance of caution (because Braun is a BLP). I thought that labeling him as a "far right extremist" was a bit much for the very first sentence (for reference, the article on Adolf Hitler waits until the fourth sentence to start to talk about his war crimes). Hi. Calling him an extremist may be going too far given his BLP status which you mentioned. I still think the article should still point out immediately that he is a far-right politician. What happened on the 10th that we are listing as an event? The source doesn't say anything about the 10th, and the Internet blackout happened on the 8th. Unless you can cite something of notability from January 10, then please remove it. - Adolphus79 (talk) 00:18, 13 January 2026 (UTC)

Because you went too far by removing the entire article when changing the date would have been far more sensical. I'm not saying you were completely wrong, I said you went too far so I reverted it. So, nothing happened on the 10th, the source never mentioned the 10th, and the war is ongoing since 2025... But I was wrong for removing an unsourced statement from an unrelated date? Which date do you propose listing the ongoing conflict (since December) under? I see you made no attempt to be part of the discussion on the talk page, I guess you are just too good for that? You are missing the point. All you should have done was changing the date to be more flexible because 10th isn't a great date for this event to be listed on. I suggest saying the protests and violence escalated since the blackout on January 8th because removing the event entirely is ridiculous and is the only thing I have problems with.

Where did I play the victim or claim you were attacking me? I came to you to discuss your edit, you told me it was "moreso" my business, yet you reverted to an incorrect date, told me I was incorrect in removing the unsourced content, and now claim I need to be "more flexible" with an unsourced date. I think you are missing the point, nothing happened on the 10th, the protests are ongoing since before 2026, there is zero reason for us to list something on the 10th that didn't happen on the 10th... this is why you should have gotten involved in the talk page discussion instead of jumping the gun. - Adolphus79 (talk) 16:28, 13 January 2026 (UTC)

You're being so stubborn. There is a caption called citation needed and you could open a topic on the article talk page instead of doing that because removing the article of something clearly covered and talked about just because the date doesn't line up instead of editing the date or moving it to a different date is far too extreme.
