Humana Operations section discussion
Hi Packrat, E from Humana here! I just wanted to see if you had any more thoughts on our ongoing conversation for my Operations section proposal. I have found a few more sources for your consideration. Thanks for the review you've been doing! E Humana (talk) 18:54, 4 September 2026 (UTC)
- Dawg it has been one (1) week. I saw. Just haven't had time to get back around to it.
- TBH part of why I didn't do it immediately is because my first instinct is that still none of these sources look like significant coverage on CenterWell and so I am inclined to decline it again as run of the WP:MILL coverage of what is just another subdivision of Humana. But I wanted to go see at some point if I can find precedent or guidelines about the level of detail for corporate structure, because I expect that you are not gonna like the answer I initially came up with and I wanna be sure instead of shooting from the hip. Also leaving it open means someone else who's more familiar may come along and address instead (I'm still pretty new to this so trying to be careful about potentially contentious decisions).
- All this to say please be patient. I want to do my due diligence and make sure I'm making fair decisions and not letting my gut drive. Packrat3860 (talk) 19:13, 4 September 2026 (UTC)
A barnstar for you!
| The Original Barnstar | |
| For your hard work and diligence reviewing edit requests, I hereby award you this barnstar. With the COI edit request queue growing and growing, I am glad to see there are other reviewers out there besides me, and your rationales for approving or declining edits have been well reasoned. It looks like you have a knack for giving requests the appropriate level of scrutiny. Keep up the good work! Altamel (talk) 17:31, 12 September 2026 (UTC) |
- Thank you! Packrat3860 (talk) 18:31, 12 September 2026 (UTC)

Backlogged COI requests at Talk:Robert Wayne Rainey
Hi Packrat3860 — saw you've been working through the edit COI queue (congrats on the barnstar). I have a few disclosed-COI requests sitting on Talk:Robert Wayne Rainey that have gone unreviewed for a while: one since June, two since August. They're low-stakes — resolving existing [citation needed] tags and filling in content gaps, each with page-numbered citations. I also posted at WikiProject Arizona and WikiProject Biography since the general queue is so long. If you have time to take a look I'd really appreciate it — no worries at all if not. Thanks! WayneRaineyAz (talk) 19:06, 9 October 2026 (UTC)
- This article is in desperate need of sources. My inclination frankly is refer it to AfD rather than spend time adding an infobox. I'm guessing that's not what you'd like to hear but there's essentially 0 sources here and in a quick search I did not find any.
- I see you made a previous COI request with an AI generated "packet" of information. I'm pretty skeptical of that information. I see a lot of puffery and also a lot of corrections walking back overstating things. However if there are genuinely this many articles on you and your work then it ought to be possible to demonstrate your WP: NOTABILITY.
- I would like to challenge you to pick your best 3 sources in the spirit of WP:3REFS. I'd suggest reading that essay because it's short and it explains the concept well, but essentially just pick no more than three sources that you think demonstrate that you meet Wikipedia's notability requirements (see: WP:NBIO). I'll review them with you and if I agree I'm happy to help you revamp the article. Please note that we are looking for significant coverage about you from reliable secondary sources that are independent of you. So interviews with you or biographies of you from your employer (current or otherwise) or praise for you from an organization giving you an award aren't very useful. Also articles that just name you or quote you talking about other events, even very important ones, aren't good sources to demonstrate that you are notable.
- All I really need is the sources themselves, so please do not use "AI" to compose your response. It is against Wikipedia's rules but also it's counterproductive. I don't want to wade through a bunch of puffed up LLM prose, just the citations (any format you like. URLs are ideal but I've got a good library near me so I can usually find print only sources too.).
- How does that sound? Packrat3860 (talk) 21:55, 9 October 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks. Here are three:
- Rose, Joshua. "Wayne Rainey: Bentley, Scottsdale." ARTnews, National Reviews section, p. 186, October 2000. Review of my first solo show.
- Trimble, Lynn. "Wayne Rainey Demolition Photo Stands Out at 2016 Juried Artlink Exhibition at Heard Museum." Phoenix New Times, September 22, 2016. https://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/arts-culture/wayne-rainey-demolition-photo-stands-out-at-2016-juried-artlink-exhibition-at-heard-museum-8662285/
- Burnett, Roberta. "New Frontiers." ARTnews, City Focus: Phoenix/Scottsdale, p. 54, January 2003. Features one of my photographs with a caption identifying me specifically.
- The two ARTnews ones are print-only, no surviving URL — I have scans if you want to see them. Let me know what else you need. There's lots more if it's useful — happy to send specifics. WayneRaineyAz (talk) 08:40, 10 October 2026 (UTC)
- If you don't mind sending the scans to me that'd be ideal. You can email them to me at
packrat386atgmail.com. Packrat3860 (talk) 12:54, 10 October 2026 (UTC) - Based on this I don't think you meet the criteria for Wikipedia Notability.
- The ARTNews article from 2000 is good. It doesn't give a whole lot of details about you, but it seems like a solid source.
- The Phoenix New Times piece is about an event and they highlight your involvement but they don't really give much biographical detail.
- The article from 2003 really doesn't say anything about you. It printed your photo but it doesn't give any real detail about you in particular.
- I am going to refer the article to AfD. The folks there are good judges of notability, so you're welcome to present your sources there and see if they have a different opinion. But based on this I just don't think we're going to have enough to make a good article. Packrat3860 (talk) 02:25, 11 October 2026 (UTC)
- If you don't mind sending the scans to me that'd be ideal. You can email them to me at
- It seems that you have made some significant updates the article yourself. I'm sure this was done in good faith, but per WP:COI this is strongly discouraged. Packrat3860 (talk) 02:36, 11 October 2026 (UTC)
