August 2025
Hi PublicityVote! I noticed that you recently made an edit and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, "minor edit" refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typos or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Joy (talk) 15:25, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
Hi, I can most definitely stop but what is the Wikipedia policy? And I was about to ask you what was wrong of having a painting of King Tomislav as a main picture and a representation of the biggest Croatian King that has ever existed? The statue doesn't do him justice.
And consider the editing done. Was just trying to use images that are already there. PublicityVote (talk) 16:20, 8 August 2025 (UTC)
I see you have already been cautioned about this by User:Miki Filigranski. Again, please stop adding outdated photos to the infobox. Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 17:15, 21 September 2025 (UTC)
You clearly don’t seem to understand that photos (edits) you just reversed are outdated photos, hamilton 2008 skyline? If anything I’m up-dating photos, lol PublicityVote (talk) 17:22, 21 September 2025 (UTC)
You clearly don't seem to understand that 2008 is two years after 2006. Magnolia677 (talk) 18:04, 21 September 2025 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Croatian art, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages St James and St Blaise. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ• Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Satellite images on islands
Please stop exchanging the top images on Croatian islands without good reasons. What is the advantage of having a satellite image of the island just above a map of the island, instead of a more iconic view to capture the island, like on Brač? I think it would be great if you helped in the selection of the best picture for the islands (Hvar, Čiovo, etc.), but in most cases I don't expect that to be the satellite view. --denny vrandečić (talk) 09:00, 27 November 2025 (UTC)
I dont know why are you so stuck up to the basic photos of proposed islands… Inform yourself and look at other pages of islands in Europe and rest of the world. Čiovo you changed into depressing, low quality and miserable image, brač is the same photo as Zlatni rat, which represents the beach not the island - wheres creativity, wheres diversity? I don’t know who put you as main editor and final decision maker, but you aren’t. Wikipedia is constatnly chaning and updating. I expect satellite view as the directly indicates view of an island not something random. PublicityVote (talk) 13:57, 27 November 2025 (UTC)
PublicityVote, you have made less than 900 edits, and have been cautioned twice about your photos. Please take a moment to read MOS:IMAGES. --Magnolia677 (talk) 19:36, 27 November 2025 (UTC)
it’s absurd to talk about how much edits I have, and you have. Numbers don’t mean your edits matter and my dont. I have a right of making, updating and informing whatever I want by not vandalising wikipedia which I’m not doing by removing photos. Inform yourself since you have so much edits and look up on other islands in the world and their main photos. Thank you. PublicityVote (talk) 21:17, 27 November 2025 (UTC)
We can both search up and find better photos in case you don’t like the satellite ones (which I do), but your photos are useless to the page of discussion (which would be island of Croatia). You’re putting random picutres that don’t represent the island but rather… Their iconic monument, landmarks or neither. Thanks PublicityVote (talk) 21:19, 27 November 2025 (UTC)
I am totally up to suggestions of better pictures for the islands. I do agree that Čiovo in particular doesn't have a great header picture. But the satellite picture really seems like a last resort, if there's nothing else good. Again, since the satellite image is right above the map, I don't see much added value.
The satellite picture instead of the map, well, that would be a different story! --denny vrandečić (talk) 12:52, 28 November 2025 (UTC)
I was hoping to have to pick something for Hvar, Čiovo, or Rab.
For Brač, I don't think that any of the ones you suggest are more iconic or representative for Brač. I mean, your fourth picture is of Zlatni Rat, but why would it be a better picture than the current one, where at least it is immediately recognizable? The second and third picture just show barely recognizable buildings in a minor bay. The first picture has no detail either, just a picture of the southern side of the island taken from Hvar. There is already a panorama picture of the whole island further down in the article.
But as you already correctly pointed out, I am not the arbiter here. Maybe explain what you find better about these pictures on the talk page, and maybe we will get more people to weigh in. For me, the current picture is iconic for the island (hey, I've even seen it representing all of Croatia!), recognizable, colorful, and unique for Brač. In my opinion, your choices look more like generic Dalmatian houses, beaches, and landscapes. --denny vrandečić (talk) 20:44, 29 November 2025 (UTC)
Your submission at Articles for creation: Palace Hotel Zagreb (December 2)
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by MCE89 was:
This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are:
in-depth (not just passing mentions about the subject)
Make sure you add references that meet these criteria before resubmitting. Learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Well done for your improvements to this draft! Unfortunately I still don't see enough secondary sources that provide significant coverage of the hotel to establish notability. I'd suggest looking for more sources about the hotel's history and architecture — at a quick glance, it looks like there are scholarly sources about its architecture that you might find useful on Google Scholar.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Palace Hotel Zagreb and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.
