- Hi Andy, thank you for replying. I didn't know how to prepare an objective Wikipedia post and avoid it being personal. All information and references are available but Wikipedia discourages personal involvement. I will post a sandbox. I am writing from Belgium, which has a time difference from the UK and North America.Your advice would be helpful. Richard Yeend (talk) 09:38, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
- Wikipedia discourages conflicted writing in articles, but allows it in on drafts and talk pages, so long as it is declared. You can follow the process described at WP:AFC. When we see your first draft, we can give you further advice as to what changes may be needed to make it suitable for publication.
- In short:
- only write what is stated in reliable sources (in your own words; do not copy)
- give a citation to the source for every statement
- do this as you go along; do not try to add them at the end.
- avoid hyperbole and unsubstantiated superlatives
- Good luck! Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 12:43, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you. Richard Yeend (talk) 13:54, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
