Information icon Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Anton LaVey, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 04:50, 7 December 2025 (UTC)

I read the LA Times review on 1965 (song) and it does use the genre "Retro-soul". If you change the genre, and it is stated as such in the source, please mention so in your wp:Edit summary. That will help prevent your edit(s) from being undone. You can read/restore your edits from the wp:Page history. Just make sure it's properly sourced when you click "Published changes". People are often quick to verify edits, so please have that citation in place. See help:referencing for beginners. Thank you Adakiko (talk) 00:36, 10 December 2025 (UTC)

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at The Last Battle. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. As you were advised previously, please do not add categories unless they are supported by the article's verifiable content or you add verifiable content to support the category. DonIago (talk) 14:35, 15 December 2025 (UTC)

Sorry to have reverted needlessly.

Reverting your edit to University of Austin was thoughtless of me, it would have been trivial to just fix it. -- M.boli (talk) 00:16, 24 December 2025 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Nice to Meet You (Myles Smith song), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Pop. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

icon Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at The Blob (1988 film), you may be blocked from editing. You are continuing to add categories that are unsupported by the content of the article. This needs to stop. DonIago (talk) 14:20, 2 January 2026 (UTC)

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Lana Del Rey 2025 UK and Ireland Tour, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. Please take note that Setlist.fm is user-generated content, and as per WP:NOTRSMUSIC, we cannot use Setlist.fm as a source. Thank you. HorrorLover555 (talk) 16:56, 5 January 2026 (UTC)

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. Despite multiple warnings you are persisting in adding categories that are unsupported by the article content. DonIago (talk) 16:50, 13 January 2026 (UTC)

This is not a disruptive category! Sarah from Queens (talk) 16:51, 13 January 2026 (UTC)
It is when the content of the article doesn't support it. Calypso is referred to as a "heathen God", with no specific reference made to either Greek or Roman mythology, and given the plethora of warnings you've received here, you should be exercising more care. DonIago (talk) 17:11, 13 January 2026 (UTC)

Hi, I came here to ask you to take a look Wikipedia's categorization guidelines (in particular WP:CATDEF) regarding this addition of Category:American Zionists, but I see multiple other editors appear to have already notified you about similarly problematic edits. I would recommend that you take such feedback seriously. Regards, HaeB (talk) 12:28, 17 January 2026 (UTC)

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Nicki Minaj. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Repeatedly removing or replacing the established image of the advocacy or political subsection with your preferred image that you want to give greater visible significance to is disruptive and tendentious. Lapadite (talk) 09:21, 1 February 2026 (UTC)

Hi Sarah from Queens, as Lapadite noted above and in this comment, you replaced an image with this video clip three times in the Nicki Minaj article: Special:Diff/1335506089, Special:Diff/1335550409, and Special:Diff/1335898409. Because your first two additions were reverted in Special:Diff/1335512652, Special:Diff/1335580806, your second and third additions constitute edit warring. Please use the article talk page to gain consensus for the use of the video clip, instead. Thank you. — Newslinger talk 07:39, 2 February 2026 (UTC)

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Teen Wolf. Despite multiple warnings in the past, you are still adding categories that are unsupported by the article's verifiable content. If you continue to do so, I will request that you be sanctioned. DonIago (talk) 14:16, 10 February 2026 (UTC)

Respectfully, I don't understand how a werewolf movie doesn't inherently count as a monster movie. Sarah from Queens (talk) 15:21, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
Because monster movie is a genre, and there's no evidence at the article that anyone considers Teen Wolf to belong to that genre. You continue to apparently struggle to understand WP:CATV. DonIago (talk) 16:07, 10 February 2026 (UTC)

Your edit to Dracula

Hello there

I restored the image of Christopher Lee because it is a classic representation of Dracula. I moved the link to the whole movie of Nosferatu to the External Links section because this film is only a loose adaptation of the novel and an internal link to the entire film is already provided in the article on Nosferatu where it better belongs.

Happy to discuss on the article Talk page. Aemilius Adolphin (talk) 05:08, 2 February 2026 (UTC)

I have reverted your recent contribution because this a a featured article and therefore preference is given to scholarly sources (for example, refereed journals, books by academics etc.). Articles in fantasy magazines don't fit the bill. If you can find recent scholarly sources that argue that Stoker might have been influenced by Machen's Great God Pan then this could be considered for inclusion. But it should not be given any more weight and space than the influences already stated. A big problem for Machen fans is that the plot of Dracula was pretty much settled before Machen's novel appeared. The article already makes this clear. Aemilius Adolphin (talk) 04:17, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
Also please note that the authors you cite aren't arguing that Stoker read The Great God Pan and was influenced by it when writing the final drafts of Dracula. They merely note some (very broad) similarities. You can't cite bits from three different sources and then reach a conclusion which isn't stated in those sources. That's synthesis, a form of original research.

Introduction to contentious topics

You have recently edited a page related to living or recently deceased subjects of biographical content on Wikipedia articles, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

 Newslinger talk 07:17, 2 February 2026 (UTC)

Please be aware that WP:CT/AP (post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people) is also a contentious topic. Thank you. — Newslinger talk 07:17, 2 February 2026 (UTC)

Blocked as a sockpuppet

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:MagicatthemovieS per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/MagicatthemovieS. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Please appeal this, ideally on your original account, but on this one if you can't access that one anymore. I'd really prefer that you don't get yourself cbanned over this. -- asilvering (talk) 18:20, 26 February 2026 (UTC)
Can you help me prove the two accounts are the same so I can get unbanned on the other account? Sarah from Queens (talk) 23:58, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
Oh, I think @CoconutOctopus just forgot who you are. Since you can log in to that one I'll just unblock it for you now. -- asilvering (talk) 04:22, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
