ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:52, 18 November 2025 (UTC)

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. It seems that you may have added public domain content to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as Bomb damage assessment. You are welcome to import appropriate public domain content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Public-domain sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any public domain content you have already imported is fully attributed. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 16:40, 2 January 2026 (UTC)

Which content? I added references for any new information added. SupermarketCake (talk) 16:42, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
I'm happy to learn more about ensuring all additions are properly attributed. 🙏🏼 SupermarketCake (talk) 16:45, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
In the future, when copying from public domain sources, simply add the template {{source-attribution}} after your citation. I have done so for the above article (see my edit). Please do this in the future so that our readers will be aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself, and that it's okay to copy verbatim. Thanks, — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 16:57, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
Thanks! I was unaware of that template and will now use it!
Actually, now I'll edit it to add the exact questions. (My additions were slightly changed from the source material since I was merging two sources and I didn't want to use the exact verbiage.) SupermarketCake (talk) 17:08, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
Also, Diannaa, since you have more expertise in this subject domain, what are your thoughts on the title of the article? Do you know why it's Bomb damage assessment instead of Battle damage assessment? SupermarketCake (talk) 18:18, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
No, I don't. If you think the page should be moved to a different title, see Wikipedia:Moving a page for full details as to what to do. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 18:58, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
